    Ok..I see what you mean....I was getting airflow through the battery that went bad...but get none from the new one. So its sealed but I still would not recommend sticking anything in the hole including liquid.

    Its ruined...mine was acting the same way after I stuck something down to center hole to try to fix it from sticking on. Also I do not believe the hole is completely sealed. I have taken one apart and it wasn't.

    What happens is the battery is so low the charging circuit doesn't think its safe to charge it at the full 200ma's. I think the charger applies a trickle charge to see if the battery will recover enough so it can be safely charged. I really don't know if it applies a trickle charge or waits...

    New product idea for V4L

    I think the next best option might be an engraving tool. I was surprised to see how cheap they are. Won't give us the colors but at least we would have an easy way to mark the carto's.
