I find that shocking too..lol. The only way that could be possible is if it has 2 li-ions and a regulator built in. If so that's awesome but it would also need to have a boost circuit built in for charging. Or maybe it has a single li-ion with a boost circuit which would make more sense.
Well I tried 350ma's from a current regulator and that did nothing so 500ma's ...I don't know. But given the passthrough will draw around 1.6 Amps if you are using an adapter that puts out at least that much current, the only thing I can think of is perhaps your adapter will cut out if it...
I was searching around the forums yesterday and found a very cheap but SLICK USB power adapter that plugs into the wall. It puts out 2 AMPS. This is perfect for the passthrough and the USB charger. In fact you could charge and vape at the same time since it has 2 USB ports. It's only $1.95..lol...
I know what you mean..lol. When I received mine and was waiting for the batteries to fully charge I was a smoke chimney. And I was nervous I would not be able to quit analogs. As soon as the battery was charged I started vaping on a Cola cart and was like hmmmmmm...this is interesting. I have...
These measurements are a ball park figure. I used Sanyo Eneloop NimH AA batteries with the passthrough.
My voltage and ohm measurements are accurate. But due to my battery holders and connections my current measurements may be off a bit. However using ohm's law we can figure out exactly what...
It would be awesome if someone could do a video showing this method. Sorry I don't do videos, but until people can see how well this works I don't know how many will try it. I can get a lot of liquid in a cart and I hardly ever put too much in.
Welcome Chucky...my roommates name is Charles but everyone still calls him Chucky including me even though he is 27 years old. You are older so I guess its OK..lol I think he has stopped smoking analogs too but I know he loves the VK as much as I love mine. Thanks for your review...this is fun..:)
They do work but if you want something cheap and portable get this:
Battery holder: AA x 4 with USB interface connector and Belt clip ("On" / "OFF" power switch) - RoHS Compliant
I do recommend using rechargable batteries because they will hold up much better. Personally I love Sanyo Eneloop...
I have tried many ways except the syringe method and find the plunger method works best.

If you get too much liquid in the cart, take a qtip or paper tower and lightly dab the top of the filler. When...
Most USB ports are only rated at 500ma's per port. The cartomizer can draw much more. I intend to do some testing asap and some current measurements and will post the results.
I agree. The latest chantix TV commercials during the first half advertise the product. The other half is full of warnings. It amazes me that this product ever made it to the market in the first place. But we have the FDA to thank for that.
No...from everything I have read its best to keep it stored in a cool dark place.
All I can say is I feel much better. I can already breathe easier and my sinuses are behaving better so its much easier to breathe through my nose. I am slowly getting my energy back....I lost a lot of energy...
I smoked a pack and a half a day for 40 years and 24mg got me off them. But it does make me a bit jittery if I vape too much so I will be cutting down to 16mg. For you I think 16mg would be good to start with..:)
The life of the battery depends on how much you use it before you recharge it as well as your vaping habits. Fully draining the battery before you recharge it will shorten its life. But fully draining and recharging will give you at least 200 charges. If you go easy on it and charge it before...
Yeah...don't worry you will like the auto. I don't do anything to mine..I like it just the way it is. But I am waiting to see how the new 380ma battery Steve has coming out will be. That one would definitely last me all day. I know its longer and too long to fit in the PCC. But I don't have the...
