much thanks to those of you who offered help with my tube problem. a little juice as lube (oh crap, here we go again!), and tweezers to hold it, and i was able to get it back on there.
WIN!
helloooo. bet i'm the only one still awake.
but if anyone is still awake, what do ya'll know about "stabilized wood?" because some of that stuff is very fancy...
thanks nyrak. that doesn't seem like too much. i assume those are the dimensions for a regular woodville (not a mini).
any thoughts on whether it is better to find it and send it to him, or let him pick out a nice piece? i love that bird's eye maple, so he might still have some around. i've...
wow, all kinds of stuff going down when i'm taking a break!
so dewicking my 306 impressed me enough that i went and dewicked the one i hadn't opened yet as well. it is much easier on a new one. wow, seems to have eliminated all the problems i was having. thanks again for the advice, mike...
hm. doesn't seem to be giving me as much vapor, but no icky taste either. guess i need to go practice. thanks again for your help mv et. al, and i will check back in an hour or two. :)
holy crap, mvgratz, that is one amazing chunk of wood!
so i think i asked someone yesterday about 510s but i've forgotten... am i trying to get to the wick that is in the coil too, or just the stuff under the bridge?
yeah, it is a 1.5. i love that i'm actually getting a good bit of vapor off of it, where the 510s were never satisfying. will i still get that off a 2.0?
pretty much all sweet juices for me - applewood, vanilla, green tea with fruit. occasional marshmallow.
oh! but first, before i take a break from ecf (am i hooked on vaping or ecf? i think both)...
... does the wick yank out from the 306 easily? will that make the atty run dry more quickly, i assume? just want to avoid that burnt taste if at all possible!
i tried dewicking some old 510s the other day, and it only really seemed to help one of them. i think they were pretty much a lost cause anyway, no amount of cleaning or burning helped.
it seems like atty/ies are the hardest part of vaping to figure out, to me.
my goal is to figure it out...
mine is always gurgling. seems like if it is not gurgling, i get the burnt taste. maybe it is a "sensitive" juice? i'm mostly using fsusa applewood or vanilla bourbon, about 60/40 or 50/50 pg/vg. doesn't seem to burn as much when i use some vaporbomb vanilla, which is 80%pg and super thick...
