    Don't worry about it, we all had to start somewhere, and I should have explained better. Blow it from the threaded side, battery, and hold a paper towel in front of it to catch the stuff :)

    That's when you need to blow them out. They put an oily substance in them to keep them from drying out till you use them, and that will give you a funny taste till it burns off, and blowing through them first will get most of it out.

    Are you using atty or carto? I know there's a film on new attys and if you don't blow them out you will get that.

    The VG will give you more vapor, a lot of people go 50/50, or even 60/40vg, but you lose some of the TH and flavor the more VG you have. add: Also if you DIY you can experiment and get it just the way you want.
