    I agree with Eric... they do not get hot enough to create a metallic gas - that takes tremendous heat. For instance, IMO, your teflon pans are very dangerous if heated to a point where they provide gas.... But it takes a lot more heat than your small atty and battery could ever possibly...

    One last note on why you may want an EGO battery to help cut analogs - low resistance atomizers. With the standard 510 you aren't supposed to use them as it is too much drain on a small battery like that.... The LR atty's have a much stronger hit- more satisfying...

    If you want an entire EGO kit you can get one for $55 at LiteCigUSA. However, if you just want to get an EGO battery to use, you can just do that. Your 510 charger will charge an EGO battery - it will just take a lot longer... FYI.

    Here is the deal with carts - the design is poor. The only reason that the filler extends all the way from top to bottom is to keep the filler near the atty. Unfortunately this also takes almost all the room for juice... Very poor design. So you can mod the cart by either taking a little filler...

    The carts do not last long before they burn dry and you have to top off. I think that is simply what is going on. This is why many people do not like carts and use cartomizers... My only suggestion would be to try what i did - take out the filler and pull off about 1/3 to allow more juice in...

    With only smoking 1/2 pack a day i think a standard 510 may be fine... The smaller size may assist with the mental thing. It is hard to say for sure as everyone is different. I think the ego is only needed if people smoke 1 pack pus. Then a mini is likely going to be a major hassle...
