I'm getting much better about it. For me mostly it's about getting the pieces small enough. My garlic press and slicer get alot of work. I puree vegetables to mix in with meat. That sort of thing. And I find if I saute the itty bitty pieces for lots of things it changes the texture just enough...
Looks yummy! I am not a fan of carrots either, but I'll tolerate the baby ones. I like to use pearl onions in my stew-a mix if both yellow and white. Mostly because I feel the flavor is smoother, plus I hate the texture of onions, so my solution is to run the onions through the garlic press with...
Oh yes minis. It's an absolute must with that type of proportion of flour, liquid, and sugar. Otherwise you end up with raw on the inside burnt on the outside muffins. I've just never found a way around that with any similar recipe. Lower temp slower cooking results in denser heavy (in a bad...
I'm not a huge (or at all) high voltage vaper. My typical setting is 3.0 to 3.5 volts on a 2.4 to 2.8 head for most juices. But if I don't add sweetener to the coffee I've gone to 4.5 volts and it's been fine. Any further and I can't really say since I don't like the feeling of the temperature.
With some judicious tweaking after some batches, these were perfect, so I'll share:

Holiday baking experiment-Pecan Pie Mini Muffins. The recipe said it makes 12 mini muffins, but I'm pretty sure they lied. I ended up with nineteen and they seriously over flowed. Probably could have done the full 24.
Yeah, that seems excessive.
We are in the same boat. We have people making up to 75 thousand for a 9 month contract down to my intern who I think is making 9 thousand for 11 months.
I think the person who set it up expected cutesy cards. I mean thats the impression I got and the direction I started with, with the big reveal being the big present. But once one person jumped the gun, we were all lemmings.
I find this whole secret santa thing rather awkward. The whole set up is to give at least something at least once a week. And then part if it is we had to do wish lists. So my person, who is the person I know least asks for kitchen stuff or anything peanuts. I was just going to do cards the...
Ugh, good luck on the downsizing.
Granted, hubby's incident was before the recession. Of course what really irked hubby was the boss wouldn't admit it was advertising. he should have known better than to irk hubby. Hubby's response was to wear other company shirts on the job  Boss...
Thats awful that someone would say something like that. It's a gift, not an obligation. I've never really worked anywhere that did christmas bonus type stuff. Hubby did, and the only year they complained (bear in mind it was a commercial construction company) was the year their boss gave them...
