    This is why I build my own coils...I've never seen anything like that happen with kanthal. I mean even after weeks of use, nothing that rusty. My advice would be to just buy some spools of kanthal or whatever kind of wire you want and spin your own Claptons. Way cheaper in the long run to buy...

    My .5 has some kinks in it but it's perfectly usable. The ribbon I've gotten from KP (.3) is perfectly flat in every aspect & on a large spool (preference). LV is a PITA with their .4, some spools come flat, but others come with a twist.

    I want that 9x3, but for $57/100'....hell no. I can justify some of the 30' rolls of 3x3 & 4x4 but not the 100' rolls. the price jump from the 2x2 at $13.50 to 3x3 at like $27 is just stupid expensive. And their ribbon pricing too...up a few bucks for each .1mm, I want some of their .6x.1mm but...

    Do it up! Today I bring some uninstalled yet coil pron. 26g frames, 6ply .5x.1mm, 32g/.2x.2mm sq interlockings It ain't easy to get this sq interlock consistent, I had enough for one coil & the rest was all wonky. So I made enough for another coil & no more since 2x2 square is dumb expensive on KP.

In experience with dealing with them, their CS is top notch and they'll send you back a new cap & mod. However if you purchased from a different site, I wouldn't know...

    Everybody mounts their coils differently & for different decks. Normally I like to have my high lead on the side post, but with my Kennedy 24's I install them with the low lead on the side posts and the high leads going into the center post. For centered builds I also go under 90% of the time...

    Lmao good one @AnonymousVaper ... I think household wire works great. Specially quality speaker wire. The thick XLR cables are the best, just strip one open and use some of the small copper wires to make your wraps. It's never let me down! Staff Edit just because... : This is sarcasm !

    Working wicks, working wires! Frample alien: 30g frames, 6x .3x.1mm, 36g alien wrap para to 22g all N80. Monster with flavor and vapor production. Prolly my favorite build as of right now. The 30g looks so tiny next to the 22g lmao.
