It's a great atty. I got mine at launch from Augvape a while back. Been loving it since.
Not to sound too offbeat but just a quick thought: I think Augvape kind of forced 528 into releasing the goon v1.5 early bc Augvape had really smart marketing on social media.
Everywhere I'd look on...
I love lamp. I mean lens....the new macro I got is an absolute powerhouse. Picked up the changing colors on the 38g fuses over the ka/n80 ribbon mixed colors...I wonder what would happen if I attached a 10x diopter?

They're really not complicated. Basic 3 loop is super super simple. It's just a matter of knowing which fingers to use as your operating fingers & how to work the wire around. My sister can make like a 5-6" length with string (days spent at day camp making bracelets as a counselor) in about 10...
I think buildmode or art of vaping has a basic vertebraid video on YT. But it's not that hard to learn, a lot of repetitiveness to it. If you can get the motion & pattern down you can bang them out pretty quickly.
Braiding aside, staggering is not always easy [emoji23]

I don't use any special technique when wrapping wire holding the spools. I just hold them very lightly so they spin freely, thumb on one side & usually my middle finger on the other side. Same thing for the dual spool technique when doing stagger work.

Very nice. I was considering getting one of their blemished 24mm atties for $25 but I opted against it for now. Maybe later. I think the time is coming for a shot of all my mechs together...it's gonna take a lot of cleaning [emoji23]

Pure Atomist. Definitely recommend buying from them. 100% quality wire & the ribbon falls flat off the spools ready to work.

Copper Kennedy 25 atty as well? Gonna be fun to clean her. I personally would have gone Roundhouse + Trickster 25 if I were you because the Trickster is essentially a Kennedy with adjustable airflow and single coil option. I have one & love it.

It's super simple. Just grab yourself a longer set of Allen keys and it's like removing the center pin & post screw off of one of the 2 post Kennedy decks. Except inside of a tube.
Disassembly is super simple with this mod. I may have my posi contact & switch silver plated.

Been seeing a bunch of SOI talk & mods on here in the last couple pages. Used to have a copper Legendary switch mod, loved it but sold it a while back. So now I have a shorty and...
Or just untwist it with nylon pliers as you wrap it. Whenever I'm coiling up a build whether it be fused claps or tricore aliens they usually have multiple twists in the wire (not the cores bunching up, but the wires kind of all moving with each other at the same time). When you go to coil it...
Actually in the 25mm Ruby 2, the top contact is quite easy to remove and clean. You just need a 3/32nd's size Allen key to remove the posi contact and the negative post screw.
As @Verb said there is definitely less pressure on the battery inside because of the contacts.
It wouldn't be fair for...
It's an incredible mod. I was just sent one.
I have a Roundhouse 24mm & 25mm in copper & a Roundhouse 2 25mm in stainless. The Ruby is worth it, one of the best made mods on the market along with the Roundhouses.

If you're out of wire how'd you make cat tracks n stuff.....did you use nonresistance wire? [emoji16]

Wait a minute are you talking about the wraps on the cores coming misaligned? Or the actual coil going out of shape? Cause if it's the latter, cut longer leads and clamp down hard so you have some room for adjustments. SS isn't springy link nich or kanthal, it's softer, so it bends easier...
