I lead my stitched aliens by the stitch, I don't stretch mine out super far and I cut off a stitch with a few feet of excess that gets cut off after the alien wrap has been used up. 24/28g is too thick. I use 28g as cores for Claptons. Try 24/32&up. -

RDA I am now a dripper with my cheapie Infinate CLT2
I have one. It pretty much just rides the bench behind my Petri, Kennedy 24, Monster v3 (with chuff pin & District F5ve Phoolish Kupcake kit) & TM atty. I'm not much of a velocity fan. It's so much hype but there's so little room in between the posts to do a build & its just average to me. -

They're actually not so different. If you get the cloud cap for the Petri you have the same airflow. If you try making a 3 core alien, I don't know if 26g will fit, I only have a v1 Petri & I have to make 28g aliens for her. Not complaining though, she's still one of my favorite atties. 3 core... -

I don't know if there's a size difference, but I don't have a 22. I know I can fit 28g/4ply .4x.1mm framed staple aliens with a 36g wrap in my 24's post holes comfortably. Even in the centerpost I had no issue fitting them. Edit: @dry_hit i was going thru your photobucket link and saw the pics... -

Put them up a little bit above the AFC, so the bottom of the coil is just above the AFC. That's probably what I would do. If you're going with the low wrap on the outside posts, it should be easy to level off. If you go with the low wraps into the centerpost block (or center post if you're using...
