Troy1Troy... New ones, and the clones, usually have a resistance meter... so if there's a function to tell you the ohms of whatever hardware is on it, its one of the newer ones. However, most of the newer ones (IF not all) aren't LRIDER... they're clones. So if you've got an lrider tube, chances... -

I haven't been following this super closely, but to my knowledge, the 1.5s (ie first LTs on market advertised with a 3amp restriction) are running into an issue w some of them where they're starting to smoke by themselves in a low power state. So the fix is take out the batts when you're not... -
