Yep, I second My4jewels answer to you, Dlsw... definitely sounds like a funky carto. I've had cartos punched with the hole all the way thru to the airhole, and some that are barely punched at all. Nope... you need to stick to IMRs 2000mah and less, and there may be a tiny gap between the cap and body on the 2000mah IMR. Anything in a protected batt or an IMR over 2000 mah and you literally can't get the cap on. And actually, I'd be surprised if you could get a protected 2000 to fit at... -

From everything I've read, there is literally no 18650 batt that lasts as long, chargewise, as those pannys. But I'd look up a few reviews on youtube, they'll have all the charts and everything. Yeah, its one of those things... kit bats can sometimes die early, just cause they're not always the best batteries. So i just replace them when they die with things that are rated much better, and then they last quite a bit longer. I'm not a huge batt knowledge person at all, I just had a BIG...- orachel

You know, I just realized... I referred to the Panasonic 18650 batt as an ICR and that's totally inaccurate. Just me screwing up acronyms. The Panny 18650 everyone is talking about is a CGR battery, NOT an icr. -

Panny CGRs are considered EXCELLENT batteries, not sure about the NCR ones, though. But many may of the major modders I know are using Panny CGR 18650s and AW IMR everything else, sizewise. And the panny is perfect in the LT. Sorry, wish I knew about the other one, but I don't.- orachel
