    What I find surprising is that it just blew up in his face as he was finishing a draw. Would he not have had any warning signs that something is not right? Like things getting hot or sparks. Sorry I am no too familiar with 18650s blowing up.

    How would you teach a new vapor to vape ?

    I have never seen anyone have problems drawing from a ecig and I have converted about a dozen or so to vaping. Also I let my friends try and besides the coughing they don't seem to have trouble drawing it in either. Just tell him to vape it like he would a cigarette.

    I am curious if his dad was with him when it blew up. It does sounds like it by his comment. "He pushed the button and blew in, and then you wait a couple of seconds, and then you puff on it. It was about two inches from his mouth and it just blew apart."

    I would try 6mg-3mg depending on the device your using. I would not worry much about vaping too much nic and you will know if you need more.
