    As long as the end of the wire does not come in contact with the bottom part of the atomizer it should not short. (A) should not come in contact with (B) the other side should have a wire coming down to the bottom part (B) though.

    Yea clip them as close as you can. If the short circuit protection is working on your mod you should be fine.

    It does not seem to have short protection. The situation sounds iffy to me. I would recommend to at least get an ohm meter to test out these coils. Best bet would be a regulated mod.

    What mod are you using it with? I ask cause most mods will warn you of a short. A pic would also help if you can get one.

    Leaks

    A lot of my tanks leak when left on it's side, but they are completely fine when left upright. It's a hassle but try leaving it upright at all times.

    It's actually $10 for a 5 pack. Nickel leads killed it for me also.

    It's also 2 batteries vs 1 battery. Something else to consider. If you vape a lot 1 battery might not last you a whole day. Also with the Cuboid you will probably need to charge the batteries on an external charger. While the VTC Mini, with only 1 battery, can do on board charging.

    Sorry I should of made it clear, that was for the dna200. Your mod may act differently/have different cutoffs.

    It actually shows low voltage warning around 3.2v. I vape at 100w and the voltage sag trips the low voltage cutoff before the set cutoff of 3v (you can set this manually on the dna200) I run all my devices to the voltage cutoff BTW which usually end up being 3.2v.

    I assume you are using the LG hg2 from your post. Here is a discharge chart for the HG2 configured for the dna200. Not the device your using, but you get the idea.

    Thoughts on the Griffin RTA and help choosing my next purchase.

    Have not tried the Boreas yet, but you can not go wrong with the Aromamizer Supreme. I have one and love it. Great flavor and with the right build will go all the way up to 200w. The Boreas is supposedly better.

    I have yet to find a contact build that works with ss and the DNA200 in tc mode. Not sure if it will be the same for the cuboid.
