    How to detect a short?

Li-Ion batteries aren't really known for their explosive capabilities. They're more likely to just leak potentially toxic gas. However if that gas releases quickly into a chamber that isn't vented, the device will explode.

    How to detect a short?

Depends on your multimeter. If it has a continuity measurement option, that will tell you, otherwise, if something melts or explodes, you have a short. :p

    What's the Norm???

No there is not a norm. Use as much as you want and remember to have back-ups. I think it's safe to say that how much nicotine you receive on every inhale is dependent on a couple factors - juice, length of inhale, power, etc., so I wouldn't think there's a concrete way to figure out how much...

love this aga t2.. whats this extra post?

There are three holes plugged by larger philips-head screws, one hole occupied by that post used for Silica wick, and the regular wick hole. That would be five. :)

    Burnt Taste on AGA-T+

Nope not at all. It's actually quite small compared to what I'm used to on the ZAP. I torched the wire before wrapping to make sure any expansion was done first. Full tank and no cap produces no glow, as it should be, and it seems to be wicking perfectly. The burnt taste is gone but I'm not...

    Burnt Taste on AGA-T+

I think it may be a bit tight. Interesting. I got the burnt taste out by doing a dry-burn as vapdivrr suggested. Oddly enough though, my juice now has no flavor. LOL.

    Burnt Taste on AGA-T+

Doing that now. No hotspots, and I'm using a ProVari, so no shorts detected. I notice that my deck is getting quite hot when I fire it for a while.

    Burnt Taste on AGA-T+

I got my AGA-T+ in the mail today and set it all up. Got it vaping better than my ZAP, but now it's not doing well. All of a sudden I have this burnt taste, but the juice is wicking perfectly. I'm using 32AWG Kanthal on 500 mesh. What could have happened between 2PM and now (8PM)?

People who refuse to leave feedback in the classies...

I don't see anywhere in the rules anything stating feedback is required, so not really much you can do beyond PMing the member asking them to leave feedback (remain neutral in the PM) of the deal.

    Help, eVic dead after update?

That is what the recall was issued for, but not the only issue with the recalled units.

    Chain Vaping cartotanks...

You shouldn't need to "suck juice into the tank." That's the point of cartotanks - to be easy to use. Make your holes bigger, slot your cartos, or, if you're adventurous, add 2-3 drops of distilled water to the liquid and shake it, just to thin it out a bit. If you don't want to use water...

    Help, eVic dead after update?

Every problem you could possibly experience usually happens with the recalled heads, but that's just what I've heard. If yours is among the recalled, you'll want to contact the vendor you purchased it from.
