    Thanks to bitterskittles, I was able to find an instance of 0x11 closely followed by 0x00. I am going to see if we can find a way to get this new firmware file to my eVic and see if I raised the limit to 15 watts. EDIT: ignore this. 0x11 is 17 in dec. Forgot about that.

    You really ought to include the release or debug versions of your built and compiled code, like NVaporWare. That would be helpful! :P I'd love to work with you on reversing the firmware if you'd like.

    Sniffing the USB connection may be our only option. I have had zero luck deobfuscating th file. Most deobfuscators and disassemblers won't even open it because it's a BIN file.

    Thank you! I am having a hard time finding what type of obfuscation was used. If I can't get past the obfuscation there's no chance of modifying or creating a custom firmware.

    If anyone were to decrypt the firmware into a reversible output, I doubt one would remove the puff counter. However if I can decrypt it, I'm planning to look at bugs like the freezing, the fact that it says "Not Atomizer Find" rather than "found," etc. If I make any progress I would definitely...

    It looks encrypted to me as well. It doesn't seem that the voltage or wattage limitations are limited by firmware, but by hardware, so I wouldn't expect any firmware update to lift any limits.

    I got cherry and Red Hot Cinnamon. The cherry tasted like cough syrup, but it was definitely cherry. The Red Hot cinnamon, wow, it's IDENTICAL to Red Hots (the candy). I don't like Red Hots much, but it's identical.
