    adding drip tip to carto

I've got a bunch of drip tips, and I've never dripped. I use them on cartos and tanks - I like the mouth feel a lot better than the metal.

IKV 510 Mega LR carto question

Thanks, but that thread really doesn't address my question. I was asking about topping off, I've got the initial fill pretty well covered.

IKV 510 Mega LR carto question

I just got 10 of these to try, and had a question. It's the first time I've used filled cartos (CE2 before I experimented with tanks) and I don't know what's unique to the IKV ones and what is common to filled cartos. They do take about 30 drops to fill, but they have to be frequently topped...

PG is an effective germicide for influenza and pneumonia

Same here. This is the first year I haven't had my annual case of bronchitis. I always coughed from January to February and didn't have a voice from February to March. That had been going on for at least 10 years and I have to admit I didn't miss it when it never showed up this year.

    Vaping and weight?

I haven't lost weight, but I haven't gained it like I did the last time I quit smoking for any length of time. I call that a win. I have found that my sweet tooth can be satisfied with vaping. I throw a little Chocolate Raspberry on, and I'm good. No need to raid the candy cupboard.

    throat hit

I've found that throat hit for me is directly related to the heat of the vapor. You can tweak it with increases in nicotine strength, but if there's nothing there to tweak, it doesn't do much good to tweak it. The Riva runs around 3.2 volts, so you need to go with a low resistance...

Ever get pulled over while vaping?

No, but some people can be a little... um... let's go with "alert to hypothetical dangers".

Do you want your voice to be heard?

I'll be sending something off today.

2 days in .. errors galore. Faulty?

It doesn't have to be sugar, that's just one of the most conductive burned items. Nearly anything becomes conductive if it burns and turns to carbon. At work we have plastic tote bins to carry parts around. Even though they're plastic they conduct electricity (need that to protect the parts)...

    dual coil?

Thee math does get weird and you can't really calculate it for heat without knowing the characteristics of the metal used for the coil wire. Because it's dual coil, you're not getting anywhere close to what 10-11 watts would be on a single coil. I'm also using between 10 and 11 watts on the dual...

OK, everybody, time to fess up - best and worst dates

I hope we've all had at least one of those magical, mystical, super-special kind of dates. One where everything was exactly perfect (whether the date partner later turned out to be perfect or not) and then we've had at least one of those dates where everything went wrong. So dish - what was your...

    Rapture time, my fellow homos!

If heaven is anything like I've heard described, I don't want to go. BORING! All the people who know how to throw a good party are going to be in hell. See you there.

2 days in .. errors galore. Faulty?

Carbonized (heated/burned) sugar is very conductive, maybe you had a short across some crap the juice left behind.

New to Provari - few questions

I've had my ProVari all over the country and never had a problem. Last time I was through Kennedy (in New York) one of the TSA agents tested the nicotine fluid, then called another agent over so I could explain the e-cig to him. He's a smoker. I demonstrated it, talked about juices, talked about...

    Performing Maintenance on a ProVari!

I'm going tomorrow to get some Noalox for the threads, but I've done no maintenance other than cleaning up the occasional juice dribble. I've had mine since late December/early January (I have two). I don't think I'd blow it out with an air compressor, that PCB looks fairly thin. Canned air...

    New To The Provari Family

The ProVari is just the PV - the power supply. You can run an eGo-T tank on it, or a MAP tank, or a Storm Tank, or any of several other types.

    Provari???

How long the battery lasts depends on you. If you glue it to your lips and don't ever come up for air, less than a day. I get about 20 hours of vaping out of one (a full day, plus a few hours the next day), and I carry it everywhere with me. The reason they recommend that particular battery...

    Throat irritation

I don't think you're a douche, just under-informed. The vapor point of PG means it bakes out, so part of that wonderful cake baking smell is carried on vaporized PG. It's also used in cigars, pipe tobacco, etc., to control and maintain moisture - that's definitely inhaled. In an experiment, they...

    Throat irritation

Both PG and VG are hygroscopic - they absorb moisture from the air and the lining in your throat and lungs. That's why drinking more water helps, it restores the moisture you're losing. It does take a few days to get used to it, but in the mean time it makes you cough. I've got a coworker who...

    Provari???

I bought one, then bought another for backup in case one of mine goes out. It hasn't - I've been using it since late December and the only glitches were mine - but I've used my spare to loan to people so they could try one. I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I haven't tried a lot of mods, but I...
