    DIY - Newb Assistance Please!

Just curious, but can PGA be purchased in the smaller sample size bottles? I don't drink, so it would be a waste for me to have a liter of the stuff sitting around.

    Oh no it's arriving today!

I think a good heart to heart talk may be in order. Between the cost savings from vaping (yes, I realize there is not always one, but there CAN be one), and the lack of analog smoke being inhaled into your lungs, she should have a vested interest in both of these aspects, since she is your...

    DIY - Newb Assistance Please!

Hey Wakadoo - What I've found is plain ole' VG and/or PG with flavors (no nicotine liquid) is a great way to test flavors without potentially wasting nicotine e-liquid. Some even suggest to put some flavoring into water, in the same proportions that you would your e-liquid (i.e. 80% water, 20%...

    Came out of nowhere

Keep up the great work cassavetes! I'm in the 70ish day mark here. Every day can be a struggle, but you're doing the right things. Mix things up a bit, try and keep your focus on vaping, old habits die hard, as they say. Just to share a quick story with you. My main PV died a little over a...

    Dripping on high voltage

I get the gurgles a lot with my penstyle atty's (low bridge). Always lots of vapor too. The way that I vape is a direct lung inhale. I get that "low juice warning" quite quickly since it's almost an immediate rancid tingle in the back of my throat. That's when I know it's time to re-drip.

    Propylene Glycol

I would stay away from any mixtures listed as 50/50, that is more than likely 50% PG and 50% (something else). If you are unsure about the source, request an MSDS sheet. Most Propylene Glycol USP is ~99.5%.

is there any way to make juice more sweet?

I like to use Lorann Cotton Candy or Marshmellow flavor, this adds a good bit of sweetness. The cotton candy is definitely the sweeter of the two, in my experience.

    Where's the flavor???

Butter Rum seemed quite strong to me at 20% concentration, but I mix my liquid using an unflavored PG base nicotine liquid. I should also note, that I use VG instead of PG to reduce the nicotine. This didn't seem to reduce the flavor of Butter Rum when used at 20% of the mixture.

Penstyle 5V USB Passthrough Done, Finally!

Bubo - That sounds a lot like the Janty Stick, except at high volts. That would be awesome, but I would think it would require some sort of PCB inside to prevent the batteries from overcharging. Hmm, something to look into for sure :) mnealtx - Thanks for the info, I've looked around, it...

    sick and tired od cr123's

What type of CR123's do you have? It's possible you have some bad batteries. Do you have a multimeter to test their voltage?

High volt vaping brings atty back to life?

It seems as if I had a couple of atty's that began to give the rancid taste of dry atty combined with possibly gunked up liquid on the heating coil. The vapor production was really low, and it seemed as if the coil took an extremely long time to actually heat up at 3.7V. I soaked them good in...

    How to spend a Saturday

Yep, and they even work for my 10440 batteries too. I went with 2x 18650's and 6x RCR123A's. It's probably overkill on the RCR123A's, but I couldnt pass up the deal with free shipping since I already had my 18650 supplies in hand. I have way too much supplies I think. About 10 10440's, 2x...

    How to spend a Saturday

Deadcat2, I have 3 options. One requires an extra adapter from Jeff. 18650 (protected) for 3.7V vaping, battery lasts for 3-4 days it seems. CR2 (unprotected) 3.0V x2 for 6V vaping <-- battery extender/adapter required RCR123A (protected) 3.0V x2 for 6V vaping I would suggest to go...

Penstyle 5V USB Passthrough Done, Finally!

Aye, it vapes like a champ, though the performance seems to be hit or miss. I dont know if it's a faulty switch or what. I just haven't had the time to troubleshoot it at all. I've tested the atty with a multimeter while the button is pressed and it seems to have a consistant 5.10V running to...

Candy and Fruit Flavors Banned by FDA

I'm guessing most people are more concerned with the evening sitcom's then they are with news/laws regarding cigarettes. News like this gets picked up and digested by a small percentage of people. That's how the government keep slipping these sorts of laws into the books.

    Battery order stuck in customs?

I am assuming this was sent Registered Airmail? If so, 3 weeks is about right, perhaps a bit more on the long end. Also, the tracking, even once it hits US soil is horrible on registered airmail. I've had the product in my hands for days before it ever updates on USPS.

    How to spend a Saturday

That depends on your charger, if it is a slower charger then yes, that sounds about right from what I have researched. Slow chargers are much easier on the batteries. I have a slower charger and my 2400 mAh batteries took 6.5'ish hours to charge. Mine were also brand new, but I didn't think...
