Dvarw MTL RTA & MTL FL (clones)
I see on FT there are two air insert sets for the Dvarw available, the "MTL" with two and the "regular" with 3 larger inserts, question is: does the tank alone come with ANY of those inserts installed (and if, which one?) or is buying one of the insert sets mandatory? Tanks, K. -

That looks overly complicated, all the parts, the tank on top of the deck ... the flat deck, doesn´t the juice flood the whole deck and leaks out of the airflow as soon as you open the top cap or do not stuff enough wick in front of the JC holes? I don´t think I get the concept of this... -

Hmmm... raised deck, Top fill and no JFC - it will probably flood every time you refill and close the top cap like the Berserker does, forcing you to bottom fill... depending on the Top cap and how it closes and forces air into the tank. I´ll wait for user reports. -

Try a Spaced coil. Does it still pop? If not it might not be the wicking but rather the coil. Did you check your contact coil doesn't have Hotspots? Try scratching the surface gently with some pliers until a dry burn shows an evenly spread glow starting in the middle of the coil Good luck, K. -
Berserker Rta 24mm
That's so bizarre... I had exactly the same thing happening to me. Got the Berserker and the first build was fine. Wanted to try a different build and always got dry hits after some draws no matter how I build and wicked. Never got it running again so I gave up and sold it. -

Great, but if you twist two 28GA (0.3 mm) wires that will result in 22GA (0.6 mm ID) and that might probably be too thick for he doggie. Also, you might want to build a smaller ID (2 mm coil or less). For twisting a thinner wire is definitely recommended. -

Hey all, as I wrote a few pages back I wanted to try self made twisted wire with the 30Ga Kanthal I had left and I can honestly say that twisted wire absolutely ROCKS! I simply drilled two 30 cm long pieces together with my electric screwdriver. The result is a ~28 GA twisted wire, not springy... -

That´s in fact not a clone of the Animodz doggy, but more of the Yellowkiss Pico V2 rta which is another 200 USD original. You can get the SXK clone at Fasttech too. Some very mixed review there about it, some reports about gurgling and lreaking when not wicked correctly... not really MTL since... -

As I´ve already reported here in ths thread, I´ve had TWO cracked acrylic tanks already and the PC tanks are supposed to crack even more likely... so I can confirm any "tank cracker" juice (Lemon / citric acid and/or Peppermint/menthol ) is not good for our doggy. -

This is all getting a little OT here in the ARES thread but I have a spool of 30GA Kanthal wire that I would probably never use lying here and I heard many people praising a simple twisted wire build so I will try to DIY my own twisted wire with an electric screwdriver and see how that goes in... -

Yeah, I also think it´s just condensation. The metal ledge where the mouth piece sits on is pretty wide and prone to condensating juice gathering on that ledge. It´s no biggie for me though, I wipe it away from time to time with a paper towel. -

If I calculated right that is 30GA x 2 = 0.5 mm plus 0.1 mm for the outer 38GA wire. So the total diameter of that wire is 0.6 mm (22 GA) ? Does anyone know if there are other, maybe even finer/smaller Clapton wires available? That VandyVape MTL Wire is very expensive... -

The only type of tobacco liquids I can accept are NETs. Any flavor based "tobacco liquid" I tried was disgusting crap. There are marvelous natural tobacco extracts out there that are really satisfying for ex smokers and especially when exhaled though the nose have a cigar/cigarette like...
