Ha, I wound up saying "what the heck" and grabbed two 808 batteries and a charger. So I guess I'm now (or at least after Feb 21 will be) a member of the KR808 club!
Hi Yellowmonkey, I'd stick with what you have for now, and get some juice for the 510. I just picked up some adaptors and empty carts cheap from Health Cabin, plus a syringe to refill them. If I like the carts I'll just grab a few 808 batteries and keep refilling the carts.
Even at Cignot prices, extra batteries, atomizers, juice and a pass through will add up to $100. I always tell people it costs about $100 to get into, and then about $30 a month after that.
To be honest, I don't think it's your equipment, I think it's your tastebuds. Every now and then I have a day where "everything" has a burnt metallic taste to it. My wife is going through that right now. It passes. I get this more on the 510 than on my M401/2, so when it comes around I switch to...
Yup, they're all interchangeable, the only difference is the length of the battery. I have the M402 charger case and it will charge the 401, but the lid won't close.
I have the same one as Capt. Jay and am happily vaping away with both my M401 and 510 passthroughs plugged into it. I got mine at Fry's electronics for $10.
Thanks for the advice. I've ordered up a few adaptors and some empty carts to give it a try. I'll probably add a battery and charger later. For the moment, I have enough 510 batteries.
I'm interested in trying the adapter for the 510 batteries and the cartos as a solution for driving. I don't want to mess around with dripping or dipping behind the wheel.
Plastic food storage containers for liquid and a dollar store odds and ends box for odds and ends. My PV, a bottle of e-liquid and some carts and paperclips etc usually sit in a nice, clean, ashtray on my desk or the coffee table while I'm using them.
I have a few of the deal extremes. The one Deena mentions was my first, but I flooded the battery by dripping on my first evening and wrecked it! The other two I have work fine. One is an M401 knockoff, the other looks like a RN4081 knockoff. The juice is pretty gross, I'm planning to refill the...
Probably can't add any advice you don't already know. Keep a few paperclips handy! I'm loving my M401/402 and I'm on month 2 with the same atty. Still producing flavour and vapour like a champ!
Isn't the Firelight a knockoff of the M401? The Firelight kit I saw online looks pretty identical (including the chargers) to a $10 dealexteme M401 knockoff that I have. Anyway, enjoy your new e-cigarette and don't sweat that it isn't "the best". As long as it is performing for you and you enjoy...
I used four parts VG, 1 part distilled water, and about 6-8 drops of loranns english toffee flavour in a 6ml dropper bottle. Made a nice, yummy vape. No throat hit at all though, but a great taste.
Probably not...dell laptops are notorious for underpowered usb ports though!
I fried mine with static electricity, plugged it in and "pop". So if you're walking on carpet, be sure to ground yourself before plugging it in :)
I think it's fine to keep charging it while the green light is on, and I second the idea of charging through an ac/usb connection. I fried a motherboard with an ipod shuffle once!
I love my pcc but it's a bit more delicate than it looks. Two weeks in and the pin holding the lid closed popped...
The torch run just went by my house and I was out in the crowds watching. Since it was taking it's time getting to us (protesters had held up the route) I pulled out my 510 and started vaping. Got a few curious looks and then a few people asking me about it. Everyone was very impressed and...
Regular tap water generally has minerals and salts (what gives water it's 'taste') and maybe fluoride, and you don't want to vape these things. Distilled water is pure and free of these (that's why it doesn't taste great) and vapes cleaner.
Don't know about the UK, but I can get 4 litre...
