    YES! (sorry so late on a reply) :oops: I re-wrapped the connector with the duct tape, and sucessfully got a Red-->Green charged status. If a battery has been on the charger long enough for a complete charge, squeeze (forefinger & thumb) the charger case close to the battery connector...
