Just file off the hex post the same thickness as the copper plate so the throw won't be affected....solder on....file it back to hex shape....and polish. That's it. The reading was 1.4 and some change and it went to 1.6 and some change. I like to fiddle around with stuff to see how it will... -

It does....every little bit adds/subtracts to the performance. My top performer right now is the new SS version w/copper on the end post (increased amps by .2). It'a PITA to do, but it did add that much. -

You should get the pretty much the same performance from all button/switches; I'd double check the contact points on any that don't perform well. I hook up the passtru to a Mastech, swap out switches, and check the amps. With brass, plated brass, stainless, copper on brass, heavy spring... -

Trace where the device is getting it's air, block it off above the GGTS, make sure you have a air feed from the control tank to the device.....and you are all set. -

If anyone is looking to get a box/container to hold theirs, check out Platt Cases....clearance section....17 bucks. It's about 8 x 10 and is made of the hard shell stuff they used for suitcases. Add the "pluck foam" inserts and you can make custom cradles to fit each device. -

There's not enough hours in the day for Imeo to handle all the manufacturing demands; unless we can clone him I don't think that's an option. ;) A 20 buck ultrasonic and a good cleaning solution will handle just about all the cleaning issues. -

Titanium GGTS or Proteus?
It's lighter, but when you consider the rest of the list; what advantage is there? If my GGTS is exposed to 1000 degrees or is in a corrosive environment or SS isn't strong enough.....I've got bigger problems. lol
