I vote for shorter. 2ml of liquid will last quite a bit of time and the smaller size will appeal to more people. -

Imeo hit a home run with the new style end cap and the all SS looks fantastic....but brass is still my favorite. -
GGTS Tube inner DIA
I measured 4 of the ones I have and the ID of the telescopic tube ranges from 18.30-18.40 mm. The smallest is the brass one I just received. You'll have to take out the TT to use the 18.7 battery. -
Dirty Button
You could find a metric screw that fits into the button top, but I wouldn't use a Dremel to round off the button. It will be extremely difficult to hold the file stationary enough to only hit the areas you want to remove. The file will want to move in and out; taking off metal you don't want... -

Since I activate the button with the palm of my hand it's hard for me to get used to the hex shape too. I did a high polish on the SS, but ended up liking the circular satin finish better. Round is definitely more comfortable for "hand activators". -

The Kick
Chances are you are correct about the tube because good contact between the kick and the tube provides the negative connection. I added an LED to my volt meter so I know whether I've got power through the Kick; then add the atomizer to get a readout.....just something that works for me. -

Zoranth mentioned "lapping" in another thread a while back. I noticed some of the parts in the Expansion Kit seemed to catch when assembling so I lapped all the threads and the sticking went away.....all are smooth as silk. -
What not to do
I used mild detergent to clean it and penetrating lube to dissolve the residue enough to get it apart. All eventually came loose except for the SS mouthpiece and top ring....it was FUSED. Seriously, it would not budge even with a couple of wrenches. I had to cut out the mouthpiece to save the... -

I'm with the others...everything can be replaced and repaired and you are fortunate it wasn't worse. That's a nasty 2nd degree burn so I would put some antibiotic ointment on it and put a bandage on it to make sure it doesn't get infected. There are some REALLY nasty germs out there just... -

Ody drip mode picture
I wish all the adapters were like the stealth 510-901; it's a really nice look....but going the other way adds length. It's *possible* to shorten the 11mm down to 9mm, but the work it takes isn't worth the 2mm. JMO -
Would it be possible to make a "one piece" GG?
