    Passthru for Odysseus?

No problem....a PT has 2 wires (+/-) and a switch between the atomizer and the power source...that's it. The 2 USB wires go into the power source and then connect to the PT. A wall plug adapter works really well and is like 8 bucks, but it's a fixed 5v/2a setup.

PTN04050 Booster, need help! (Since i succed with the PTR08100 next...)

You are a helluva lot further along than me.....with electronics, I understand about every 3rd word, and with the cause and effect of changing components and their values....not a clue; not a clue. I have to depend on folks who do understand it to post pictures. I can replicate pictures; that...

Going to the hardware store: Need a list.

This is the only epoxy I'll use....VERY strong...never had it fail; not once. It dries clear and gives a real clean look. Drop by the drawers that hold nylon nuts and washers as well as SS.....nice items that are easily modded for small parts. If you don't have one, get a 3" spirit level...

Imeo, I'll still be a hack with a Dremel........ The proof of concept works. Now, I've got to find the best materials and begin tweeking it. A couple of wraps of the NR wire on the rigid post to anchor it temporarily Position the R wire against the flexible post By pulling the R...

Dear Odysseus... why do you hate me? (Leaking)

Has to be the o-ring....that's why I wanted him to remove the collector tank so he can see the GGTS connector and the Ody. Then, just put the Ody on the connector w/o tightening anything on the GGTS. If it doesn't leak he has a good seal. If it doesn't leak after completing the Ody assembly...

Dear Odysseus... why do you hate me? (Leaking)

How much?...a drop or 2 or a continuous flow? Here's what I would do next. I'd remove the ceramic holder and examine the o-ring on the Ody center post; looking for a tear. While I had it out I would look at the inside of the threaded portion of the base where the o-ring seals. Then, I...

Dear Odysseus... why do you hate me? (Leaking)

On the GGTS, I would remove the collector tank leaving the connector on the top tube. Screw the Ody onto the connector and see if it leaks. Also, check the mouthpiece and make sure it's not being screwed onto the ceramic holder when you are attaching it to the GGTS. When I get everything set...

    cheap drip shield option!

Hard to tell much because of the pic size, but what I'm wondering is how you seal off the base to contain the liquid that leaks out of the atomizer?

    Passthru for Odysseus?

Imeo, I am happy you got it and happier you find it useful. I use mine every single day so I thought, with all the checking of resistances you do, it would make the process easier. I hate having to hold onto the probes every time I need to check an atomizer. Still working on an...

    Who uses xc-116 ceramic wick?

I got a set of diamond bits from Harbor Freight....about $6 for 12 of all shapes and sizes. I use the 1/16" barrel shaped bit in my Dremel at the lowest speed. It cuts the ceramic really well so light pressure is all that's needed; pretty much let the weight of the bit itself. Use water to...

    Who uses xc-116 ceramic wick?

I *can* manipulate it to produce particles; in fact I can make it shed like a mangy dog. lol Here's my procedures: Mod the ceramic so the 116 fits entirely into the slot (clearance for the knurled lock ring) Place the 116 into the slot Assemble I've checked every time I replace it...
