Check the dead atomizers with your multimeter....you'll probably find they are shorted out. Look at the positive connector of the atomizers and see if it's pushed up into the tube.
Wire it up and check one battery....sometimes they get mislabeled and will actually test and read "No 1" and then "All". You've got nothing to lose and you might get lucky.
Yeah...it's one of my favorites. Old style from one end to the other....brass end cap, brass button w/polished locking ring, brass tube, and fluted control ring. An Imeo Classic
Square aluminum tubing to make a heatsink works really well. The alum draws the heat from the chip and the tube shape allows the heat to escape quickly (air flow). I used plain vasoline to enhance contact with the chip.
The 14250 is about 350mah (if memory serves me) which lasts me about 2 hours which is why I created it....to stealth vape at the movies. The 10280 is even weaker and lasts about an hour. I've not tried it with anything other than regular ohm atomizers/clearomizers.
You can try it with other...
TF and UF both are notorious for inconsistent lengths and have seen up to 1.5mm difference with the gray and blue labels.
The "flame" label 14500 UF's seem to be more consistent. If I make a mod where fit is critical I go with AW's.
NOT ONE of the blue label 16340's are 34mm so I quit...
Not a 2AA box...it's a 1AA; and you're right; cut the center section out and epoxy the ends back together.....sand and paint and then mod it out. Pretty simple really....just difficult to cut and reattach because the ends have to match exactly to be strong enough to hold and look right
There's a couple more threads under "Mini" in the title. I think there are parts and add'l pics as well.
They are all the same....just made the boxes different sizes to match the batteries.
You are no different than the rest of us....there's an old saying: Women control 50% of the money and 100% of "something else" and the "something else" gives them 100% control of the other 50% of the money.
...that's just the way it is.
I don't mind admitting I'm TOTALLY confused; but I'm dumber than a bag of hammers when it comes to electricity so I expect to be clueless in such things.
I love the 901 and will take it over a 510 every single time. However, there's another that is coming up the approval ladder pretty fast. Nebulabrot helped me with the 801 options and I REALLY fell for the 302 version.
