    Heresy?

If you figure out what the problem was...please PM me. I've had the OP on my "Ignore List" so I never see anything he writes. Thanks

What about the new DNA modders board

Breatru has already created a display (breadboard phase) and it's awesome....can't wait to see what he does with the DNA. The guy does incredible stuff.

What about the new DNA modders board

Yes, it does...very promising. The first thing that came to mind was mounting one in a GGTS.....12w of goodness in a great PV. Installing one in a box mod will be fairly straightforward.

    Heresy?

I've plated hundreds of items and the cyanide base isn't an issue as long as proper procedures are followed. The real problem with people googling plating and then applying it is they lack the basic knowledge of the processes and procedures. One of the most common errors is lack of prep. The...

    Selling prices of GG items

Like you I've paid quite a bit more for some items because I REALLY wanted them and when the add'l cost is factored over the life of the item, it's a few pence a day. Well worth it for something special.

What to do if you have a taste deterioration

Good routine. If you've got a REALLY nasty ceramic, first ultasonic it in household ammonia. It cuts through to clean where alcohol won't. Then, rinse, alcohol rinse, dry, etc. to get rid of all the cleaning liquids.

Idea for a mod using a step-up power module. Am I nuts?

You got me thinking with that one....with the new Evolv DNA going up to 12.7 watts....what's the pot that would handle that look like? Any recommendations of what to use? Thanks

    # 14 Super Slim has arrived, got some pictures

It's getting hot because you are running 7 volts and 5 ohm resistance. I don't know the amps, but you should be producing about 10 watts....That's no small amount. Since are stacking batteries, it's a good idea to label them in pairs, rotate, and make sure you have a really good charger.

    best epoxy???

Incredibly strong and cures clear. Couple of things that increase it's holding power....rough the surfaces so there's add'l contact to grip and clean with a qtip and alcohol to get all the grease from handling off, and if possible, install a delrin tube for the connector. Not only is it bonded...

    Wick Material Question

This must be the third thread on the same topic. Torching XC116 is not NEARLY as effective as using a kiln. Omega sends a data sheet with the order that includes temps and times. In one of the other threads I uploaded the PDF for anyone considering using it. I've had ZERO issues with the...

    UFS Plastic mouthpiece vs Metal

Take a CLOSE look at the threads on the SS mouthpiece. Sometimes there's a burr on one of the threads from when it was made.....moving the mouthpiece back and forth back and forth as you screw it into place (lube the threads first) it will clean it off.

    EverCool Variable Voltage Mod

Glue is messy and it seals in heat. I never use it and never will. This is what I use in all my mods and have never had it fail Everyone has their own preferences....this is just what works for me and works really well.

Check Omega's site to see if it's Nextel XC116 and can be exported to Canada; I know they won't ship to a lot of countries because it's used in the space industry. Kiln fired makes all the difference with XC116...soft, easy to work, NO flaking....excellent properties.

    GG pictures

Adjustable draw passthru for tanks and such. I've got a Mini GGTS PT but wanted to make one with just the collector tank and the switch/box and the device on top. (no false battery, no tubes, something that's just the device and a small box w/switch). It's in test mode so the box I'll make...
