    If you take an extra Ody center post connector and solder a SS tube into the end it will extend the positive connector to make contact with the REO. Not only will it make contact but will act as a juice feeder. For $13 you have a custom fit REO/ODY

    I don't have a super duper machine like the pawn shops or a degree in theoretical physics, I just stick a magnet against the tube. If it sticks, it's a really good chance it's the SS model. In Texas magnets don't stick to aluminum or brass. ;)
