@Two_Bears Well glad to report that I tried wicking with my tails deeper into the juice well and first attempt no leaks but flavor wasn't as rich like when it was leaking here and there. So rewicked it again and really fluffed the cotton up once it was set in the wells and that's much...
How is it dangerous when I'm using a regulated mod and just expressed myself wrong. No issues at all here and my mod reads the resistance anyways and I always start off at low wattage and increase by five till I find my sweet spot. Vaping is all about learning and getting experience. We all...
Hi guys how's it going. So I've had the Griffin tank now for two weeks. Just when I thought I had wicking figured out it proves me wrong. So I been wicking it just tucking the cotton at the top of the airflow. Not really stuffing it down the juice channel and when you look at the juice holes...
Just had to rewick so I took the post screws out of the slow firing coil and switched with new ones that weren't stripped working much better now!! Firing together :)thanks for all the tips guys ;)
Well they said it wouldn't hurt anything. They tried getting them to even out. Then asked if I wanted a new build but I liked the way the coil was vaping was awesome. So once they said it wouldn't harm anything we just rewicked it. The guy at the store rewicked it but he didn't do it right. Was...
It won't hurt to keep vaping it like that right? Right now my build is perfect!! 3mm dual five wrap coils at 0.17 resistance. Amazing flavor and Vap at 75 watts -95 watts :) like I mentioned once it warms up they are pretty even.
Thanks @rice721 thats what I was thinking. The two screws on the slow coil aren't as snug as the other coil. With that being said I couldn't pull the coils or budge them they are tight but I can feel itsxnitcas tight when I put the Allen key in there. Also at my shop today the guy pulled out a...
Hi guys,
Another question, I noticed one of my coils is heating up faster then the other. But once I start pulsing them they are ok. I scrapped my ceramic tweezers on the one that was slow to light up. Guys at the Vap shop checked it out everything looked good. I'm building with the shifty...

I meant to say using the same wire on both builds. I have staple wire and kanthal. I am using regulated mods yes. So the thicker the gauge the easier the current runs through it? Im building on the Griffin and ever since I been using staple wire I find in not getting as good flavor as I was with...
As mentioned on another post where I replied sorry guys. Newbie mistake. "Ok Sorry I was figuring it was higher as in I could fire more watts. Noob mistake so 2.5 is in fact lower then .34 but the watts can go higher at a lower resistance. My bad. Anyhow I figure it out! Made dual 4 wrap coils...
Ok Sorry I was figuring it was higher as in I could fire more watts. Noob mistake so .25 is in fact lower then .34 but the watts can go higher at a lower resistance. My bad. Anyhow I figure it out! Made dual 4 wrap coils for the tsunami and 5 wraps dual for the Griffin the 4 wrap was at 1.9...
No, no mistake. I had a dual 6 wrap coil And it read .24 did an 8 wrap dual coil and only reading .34 the 8 wrap was on kanthal and 6 wrap was on staple wire. I always thought if a coil reads .25 it's higher then .34? Sorry I'm new to all this!
hi guys! Hope everyone had a good weekend. I'm new at building on RTA's and rda's. So today I tried a 7 wrap dual coil 2.5 diameter in staple wire pictured below. It was touching the side of the tank on my Griffin. Would reducing the diameter help? So previously I had the same set up at six...
