    I would't be so sure SS mesh wicks are safer than cartos with filler: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=362608 Initial cartos had issues with material burning/scorching and releasing particles. That was solved. Oxidized SS mesh does that and no one knows what's in it.
