USB Passthrough Doesn't Work - WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!

it's the same as the one I just posted but mark out everything in the middle... just black from usb to side of batt connector, red from usb to switch and from switch to center post of batt connector... lemme see: that should do it... other then that man, you gotta get a multimeter and...

    What is this warning for?

Just like has been stated here before me: Analogs contain MAOIs and eliquid does not, when my doc first put me on anti-depressants he told me I should not try to quit smoking, at least until my med levels were stabilized. That's really the fear, if you're just going onto meds, you may not think...

    e-Hookah?

All you have to do there is put the usb cables through the hoses and put the hub in the base of the hookah... If I could get to my hookah (in storage) I might try, but it's only a single hose, so it wouldn't be as cool. Just a matter of ending the usb cable where the wooden mouth piece begins...

USB Passthrough Doesn't Work - WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!

it should be, yes... although the atty doesn't really care which is + and -, for simplicity, ground to the side of the atty and + to the center post... Also, might double check for shorts in there, if you're shorted out inside the batt connector, that will also cause problems...

What's so great about a box mod?

goonie: You CAN 'spend the money on a mod that will last.' Or spend a WHOLE lot less on a mod you can easily repair/replace parts on!! I love my latest box mod, based on the puck but with aa batts instead of aaa. I've gotten over 72hrs of VERY heavy vaping on one set of 4 NiMH batts, I've been...

USB Passthrough Doesn't Work - WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!

Consider this: electricity flows from - to + so, if you're resistor is inline between the led and the atty, that's where you're limiting the flow... Try this based on your orig schematic: (your led has to goto both + and - also....)

USB Passthrough Doesn't Work - WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get a multimeter (harbor freight has them for ~$3, if there's one near you) and check the circuit, sounds like there's a problem with the connection, probably at the battery connection, but it's really hard to say without both it and a multimeter in front of me... Could be the solder joint for...

USB Passthrough Question - Easy answer I hope

Cool, Bubo, I would be very surprised if you notice a difference, but I am curious as to your results... I've taken apart several usb 'charge cables' and the ones I have did not have the data cables shorted, they just didn't have them.

AAA battery mod 5 volts question

USB Passthrough Question - Easy answer I hope

Well... I've never heard of anyone having problems with not drawing enough amps. I, personally, would be VERY reluctant to connect an intentionally shorted cable (even the data wires) to my computer, but maybe that's just me, with over $3000 invested in my desktop, not counting peripherals...

USB Passthrough Question - Easy answer I hope

? what resistor are you talking about? If you want an led you need a 470ohm resistor inline with that, otherwise, no, you don't need a resistor. You don't need to do anything with the data wires, though I would recommend insulating them from each other and from the power wires, just for safety's...

Switched out atty and I do NOT like it...

If you didn't blow it out before you primed it, this may be the problem, the 'primer' from the factory is nasty, and doesn't hit well. Other then that, if you have a multimeter handy, maybe check the resistance on each?

This is a review of the flavor (Slurm) 36mg nicotine.

I too am in Dallas (area), and have ordered from DFWvapor quite a few times, especially if I suddenly realize I'm almost out of juice, since he can usually meet me the same day. I saw he had this, but hadn't ordered any. Based on this review I'll have to pick some up next time I order, I love...

    How to: Build the Puck

This is a great, super simple mod. Just finished my own take with a 4aa box for 4 aa nimh batts and a 2aaa box as the 'control box' (510 connector, .5a switch, fast color-changing led). Super easy, hardest part was drilling my holes straight (without using a clamp) and it vapes like an ......

    The 17500 1300 mah battery

? 18500 battery's have 14-1600mah (I thought about getting them before deciding on my 18650s at 2400mah), unless you have a mod in which 18500s are a really tight fit, I don't see it being worth the sacrifice in mah for 1 mm diameter... but maybe that's just me....

Oh crap I need... (North Texas Retailers)

Thank you, I had a long response typed up for this, but my computer restarted and I never re-wrote it, also mine was much more harshly worded... I agree, if this flavor is "illicit" then so is every flavor except the tobacco flavors since flavored cigarettes are illegal... I have to say, James...

Is there any need to apply eliquid to the cartridge if you're 'dripping'?

If you're dripping then there should be no filler in your cart and you want to drip 2-3 drops straight onto the atty then put your cart on and vape for a few puffs (maybe 10, but really depends on your vaping technique) then repeat, I would recommend a drip tip so you can drip without removing...

Has anyone been relieved from sinus pain since switching to the e-cig?

Short answer: yes. Long answer: I've had horrible sinusitis (cronic, severe sinus infections) for years. I had sinus surgery about 6 years ago and was thinking I needed it again, but I am currently uninsured. When I first started vaping I didn't notice it being much better, but before long I...
