This is deff a noob question..

It sounds like he melted the corner of the cart with the corner of the atty, that's happened to me before as well, if you look inside the atty and try to match the flat sides in the cart with the open space on the inside of the atty it should stop that from happening, I melted a couple of carts...

This is deff a noob question..

The real problem will be flooding your atty and getting eliquid into the auto batt, messing up it's sensor and shorting the batt. Mixing isn't a problem but it does mix better in a bottle then in a cart, and if your no nic flavor is a flavor consentrate, not a 0 nic eliquid, then you may be...

    EverCool Variable Voltage Mod

A thought occurs: If I'm telling TI that I'm an engineer for a small consumer electronics company using their sample chips to test in my prototypes, and they only let me get 5 of this or 1 of that, what's to stop a friend, neighbor or family member who owes me a favor, or wants a favor, or a...

    Heads up on NiZn batteries.

So, if you don't mind me asking, what setup are you each using? I know originally Nobody was using 3 (in series?) to get ~4.5W under load, and Sci was using 2 (in series?) straight to an atty, but was thinking of adding a booster. I'm especially interested in how well they perform without...

Help with begining stages of Battery mod Thanks

My 3aaa flashlight mod I just finished modding this flashlight, it will vape with 3 NiMh aaas, but it's a pretty weak vape and the batts taper off and die quickly. I'm waiting for my 18650s from China then I'm going to move my + connector up to fit them.... You can test your battery pack...

    Can i sequence a 1.5v and 3.7v battery for 5.2v?

RjG: I never said it WOULD blow up, I said there was a high probability, I also mentioned that 2 batts of the same chemistry with different charge levels should not be mixed for the same reason. I also said it may work, when I knew for a fact that it would, but there is a MUCH HIGHER potential...

Solder directly to battery and pcb?

If it were me, and this is just me, somebody with more real world experience in EE, or who builds their own rc batt packs, might feel very differently, I would not want to solder direct to a batt both because I would be afraid of shortening the battery's lifespan by overheating it, and, to an...

Hehe CHeck out this liquid I found

I've got some DFWVapor Coffin Nail. It's not great, but it tastes closer to burning tobacco then any of the other flavors I've tried. I haven't tried mixing it in anything yet, but I'm thinking it'll be good as an additive to make my other flavors a little smokier...

    e-Hookah?

Yeah, the electronic hookahs I've actually seen all heated tobacco, like an "herbal vaporizer" does. Going by their own 'archives' page, it looks like the webpage, ehookah.net, has only been updated the one time, November 2009. I would think, if it was still a valid project, that this close...

    Heads up on NiZn batteries.

When NiMH were FIRST introduced the "fast chargers" were not 15 minutes. The question here is how well they will work for our purposes, not how long it will take for the charge. There's only one company (as far as I've seen) even making NiZn batteries and they're only making one or two sizes...

    QTactical 6v Mod

Very nice, simple 6V mod. I like it. Any more specs on the flashlight (like where you picked it up)? The only ones I'm finding locally are 3aaa... and was it a momentary button to begin with or did you have to replace or modify the existing switch? Again, a great looking mod....

Tired of the misinformation, disinformation and total lies.

I also posted a comment on the article page... and think it is sad that there is no fact checking in the media anymore...

    Can i sequence a 1.5v and 3.7v battery for 5.2v?

now that's harder, personally I cut it off about 1/8th inch below the button on a manual batt with a dremmel and then kind of peel the liner back with a pair of wirecutters and needlenose pliers. Not easy, much easier (if you can wait) to order some connectors from madvapes.com

    Can i sequence a 1.5v and 3.7v battery for 5.2v?

a regulator regulates the input voltage down to a lower voltage as required, a booster boosts the input voltage up to a higher voltage as required. I've heard of them being used in mods and seen diagrams showing them being used in mods, but haven't built a mod with one yet myself (I'm still...

    Can i sequence a 1.5v and 3.7v battery for 5.2v?

If you're trying to mod the 2 aaa lighter then you might consider going with one 10440 and a booster (as opposed to 2 10440s and a reg), shorter batt life, but might fit better.

    Can i sequence a 1.5v and 3.7v battery for 5.2v?

It may work, but it is not recommended. The possibility of blowing up a battery (and possibly your hand and face) is very high. You should never mix batteries with different chemistrys, you really shouldn't even put a fully charged batt in line with a partly discharged batt, as you may...

    Radio shack switches

I like the telegraph switch idea. (Beep, Beep, Boop, *vape*, Boop, Boop, Beep) Example of a mechanical switch in a mod You've may have just opened a can of worms here, since switch size/rating is one of the most highly debated topics between modders. Some like to use .5mA tact switches...

    between battery and atomizer?

At least a momentary switch., most people would probably recommend a master on/off switch too. Maybe more, but more info is needed on what you're trying to do. I'm going to assume you're using a Li-Ion batt @ 3.7V (protection is always recommended). If you're using a single 3.7V batt, or...

Question about 3.7/5v vv mod and batts...

I have an idea in my head, maybe someone with more engineering / electrical know-how then I could tell me if this would work. I don't see why it wouldn't in theory but IDK... I'm seeing a mod with 2 3.7v batts in parallel, then flip a switch and have them in series. So @ 5v I get a strong vape...

What's your Plan A for a Zombie Outbreak?

I'm a good shot, but my string keeps breaking. Too much maintenance, pulling, loading, replacing string (assuming you can find one), retrieving, finding and/or making more bolts, for my taste... Shotgun shells aren't hard to find and easy to reload with readily available supplies. I don't...
