Watts is a pretty good measure of heat. Heat is what vaporizes the juice and produces vapor. The more heat, the thicker the vapor (until it starts tasting burnt). Most people like nice thick vapor.
Voltage is provided by the battery. Resistance (ohms) is provided by the atomizer. In order to...
Hey, it works for me. I was gonna have to buy juice soon anyway and this is just a way to get it at a discount with some of the money going to a good cause. Everybody wins.
If I was actually going to donate directly I'd just text RedCross to 90999. May not be the best option, but it's the most...
I usually get a buzz when I first get a shipment in, no matter the vendor. I think something about switching vapes does it for me, don't know why. Maybe that's what it was for you.
Then recently I stayed over night on a snowboarding trip. Forgot my mini phillips screwdriver at home (only way to...
I have also been impressed with the quality of service from many of these vendors.
I think it's a matter of scale. The e-cig market is still very small. Most companies start out small and part of getting your foot in the door is offering exceptional quality and service. But once a company grows...
Ok after a couple days of reading, re-reading, and research I now understand the circuit on this thing haha. Definitely gonna get started on this once I get home from my *extended* vacation.
My only question is about the capacitors. Does the type of capacitor used matter much? It says Tantalum...
I think this is the bottom line. We can't just tell new people to order a 510 or an ego, because many of us know that these devices are not powerful enough to satisfy everyone.
I see what the OP is saying about the overwhelming amount of information and recommendations. But there's a learning...
It is tough with all the info scattered around this forum. I got into modding a bit just from doing lots of late night reading here a while back but then I've got youth on my side. It'd be nice if someone would put together all the basics and all the different types of boxes in one place. Kind...
That's amazing, breakthru. You modders have come a long way since I last lurked these forums.
My 2x14500 boosted box quit working months ago from juice leaking on the chip. Since then I've just been using a plain old nicostick. Now that I've checked out the vv stuff I can feel a new project on...
Same here. 4 cats and the one that always hangs out with me doesn't mind it at all. I had heard about their problem with pg when I first started vaping so I never blow it in their face, but sometimes the air current in the room will push it near them.
I got my first order from them recently also. Fast shipping and great juices. I got doublemint gum and ry4, both 24mg and no extra flavor. Both are excellent. You can really taste the caramel in their ry4 which is great for me.
They threw in a sample of wyatt earp. That's a pretty damn good...
I've gotten a handful of free samples from Texas Instruments. I can't remember the name of the regulator but the booster chip is PTN04050C if I remember correctly.
Just go to their website and have a look. You have to fill out some basic information when you order them like the application and...
I tried their red cow once and it was awful. It probably spoiled in the mail though with the 110 degree temps. I usually just use madvapes for mod parts, atomizers, and for batteries when I don't feel like waiting for international shipping (dealextreme). They have good chargers for dirt cheap too.
Dripping tends to give me the best flavor.
Different styles of atomizers tend to give different results when it comes to flavor/vapor/etc. One that gives tons of vapor may not be the best for flavor and so on.
I don't have any experience with those units so sorry I couldn't elaborate further.
I've found that I can go much, much longer without a drag of my e-cig than I used to be able to go without a cigarette. So I don't really ever feel the need to vape inside establishments. I also don't like to draw attention to myself.
The only place I really vape openly is in airports. Most of...
