A while back someone visited their factory in China on business and posted pictures. The place is like a friggen cleanroom with people in full body suits and masks and ****. I wouldn't worry about that. The inconsistency I myself have experienced is more of a mystery, but it might just be a...
Good to hear you recovered. I agree in that it's easier to quit vaping than analogs. I can go much, much longer without a drag of my pv than I used to be able to go without a cig.
If you don't mind, I'm gonna drop a link here dealing with another type of chest pain just in case anyone with it...
I just got accepted for that one, too. There was a cancellation and I lucked out. Gonna take the T in from Wonderland station. A bit of a walk from mass ave station to the campus but I don't mind.
She said there will be another one in March for those of you who missed out.
See you guys there...
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/54345-all-day-5-volt-box-its-little-brother.html
I ended up making a 5v box with two 14500's from this thread. Picture of the wiring on page 3.
There's plenty of info buried here about these boosted mods. So just spend some time searching. I...
An alcohol bath works good to dissolve any gunk in the atty. Just make sure you rinse and dry it completely before you use it again.
Also, using an atty on a high-voltage device can sometimes burn off enough gunk to loosen the draw up again.
The little hole in the bottom of the battery box where the original wires went through is good enough for me. If anything ever happened it would probably give me enough time to throw it on the ground. I'd never recommend making the holes point anywhere near your face. As mentioned, burn injury...
Just because nicotine absorption from cigarette smoke is 98% doesn't mean it will be that way for e-cig vapor. There are supposedly chemicals in processed tobacco that help with nicotine absorption. But still, if someone is worried about a little bit of nicotine from second hand vapor then they...
I'd look into dipping instead of dripping with the L88. The exposed atomizer bridge makes dipping possible and the automatic batteries make dripping a little risky.
Could someone please draw up and post a more noob-friendly wiring diagram?
The one on the spec sheet is a little hard to understand for folks new to this stuff -like me.
Second time is much easier. Its the first time that's a nightmare. Having skateboarded is a huge advantage.
I skied when I was a kid and then I went to the dark side. The great thing about snowboarding is the single and double black diamonds are ten times easier than with skis. I was doing them...
You really need one rated at at least 2A if you're gonna run a 510 at 5V.
Just basic ohm's law. Take the voltage and divide it by the resistance of the atty and you have the current it will draw.
I'd recommend going over by at least 500mA, especially if you're getting one that's more compact...
I've been coughing and hawking up phlegm since I switched to PVs. Clear liquid with dark brown/black tar in the middle. As time goes on its happening less frequently and with less and less tar. So, its comforting to see that I'm getting all the tar out of my system. And its nice to know that...
I agree. USB 2.0 and most motherboards aren't too happy about giving you all that current. And even if you get a powered USB hub, you still have to deal with the high resistance of the wires. That's why you just get a 5V wallwart rated at over 2A and run the wires to you're PT box.
No reason to...
After a failed attempt at a nicostick using the Loctite liquid epoxy crap I decided to try this.
1000x easier to work with! And while most epoxy is at least water resistant, with this stuff I have extra insurance against any juice seeping out of the atty.
Got it at Home Depot.
Cures hard as...
So far, mine would have to be Dekang's Blueberry.
The flavor is fine and it tastes just like blueberries. Its just that as much as I like blueberries, it doesn't feel right vaping them.
Oh well. I'll save it in case I change my mind later on.
I got everything at madvapes. 7 bucks for the charger -couldn't pass that up. Got the battery connectors from them too (they even threw in an extra one). The batteries are Ultrafire though. But from what I've read there doesn't seem to be much of a difference between the brands except for the...
I'm 6 ft. In the two months I've been vaping I've gone from a stick-figure 145lbs to a healthy 163. I finally feel like a normal person. :D Some of it may have come from an increased appetite but I think most of it was from the increased oxygen supply to my muscles. My appetite only went off the...
