    An alcohol bath works good to dissolve any gunk in the atty. Just make sure you rinse and dry it completely before you use it again. Also, using an atty on a high-voltage device can sometimes burn off enough gunk to loosen the draw up again.

    I'd look into dipping instead of dripping with the L88. The exposed atomizer bridge makes dipping possible and the automatic batteries make dripping a little risky.

    You really need one rated at at least 2A if you're gonna run a 510 at 5V. Just basic ohm's law. Take the voltage and divide it by the resistance of the atty and you have the current it will draw. I'd recommend going over by at least 500mA, especially if you're getting one that's more compact...
