    Have you cleaned both the batteries and the charger? Perhaps one or the other is gunked up and not making good contact. Also, are these auto or manual batteries? Maybe some juice got into the manual one and is shorting it out.

    Just be clear that the evod's are 3.7 V, and the v-kit is 5.0 V. 3.7 would definitely not be enough for me. Good price, tho.
