My husband exclusively vaped fsusa's RY4 but we have decided to switch and give BWB our business (BackWoods Brew) and I'm actually loving their RY4 right out of the box. (I generally don't care for tobacco flavors, but this is different. It's brighter somehow. I'm looking forward to letting...
I understand what you mean, and the study also states that the factory workers are also exposed to other agents - so oddly, it kind of brings us back to the two (maybe three now?) cases of bronchial obliterens believed to be caused by breathing the vapor created by popping popcorn at home (also...
The 1.5% is already accounted for within the 1ml you've added to the rest of the solution, though. So you aren't adding .015 diacetyl, plus 1ml of diacetyl-free flavoring plus the pg/vg and nicotine (those two total 4mg's) to get 6ml.
You're adding 2.5 + 1.5ml's of vg/pg & nicotine, 4ml's
plus...
I appreciate it. But wait. I think I may've been right after all.
There is .015ml contained within that 1ml - that's already accounted for, based on Max's page.
Actually, I'm pretty sure now my math was wrong (I warned you all from the beginning). The point is that we don't know - no matter what numbers we crunch, it doesn't matter much until we have actual proof of how much we're exposing ourselves to, because we're doing nothing more - on either...
I think you're right. (I was told there'd be no math, and here I am.) All of which, apparently means absolutely nothing based upon Markarich159's comment earlier.
(Also, shoutout to Roly coming up here...)
The simple truth is that we're all tilting at windmills until we see specific testing...
It was an unfortunate jumping off point, I agree - it lacked the fluidity of the other thread that was locked. And I do see how it looks like I was just guns blazing over CASAA, but I hope I've clarified that a bit.
As for the rest of the thread - no telling where it'll go, I'm just grateful...
I can only frame this in a "what if I was a supplier" context - so if I was a supplier, and found out my juice contained what could potentially cause lung disease, I would take it out of my juice altogether. (Btw, does anyone think I liked pouring juice out? That SUCKED, but that's how strongly...
Thanks, and also,. this thread exists to keep discussion going on the subject. We can't debate forever and sooner or later those without a dog in the fight will wander off, and those who do have an interest can keep the discussion open and ongoing. Because as you said, transparency is key here.
Perhaps you missed it, but Kristin and I were in the middle of a discussion in another thread that was closed to do the thread author's request.
I'm just going to assume that your agenda is set, as is mine, and we'll agree to disagree.
(But I like the public stoning addition to everything...
Katya, at "trace of a trace" amounts of exposure diacetyl is linked to lung function deterioration. There appears to be no safe level of exposure. None. Which is exactly what the study I linked to from the beginning of this thread mentions.
Kristin, I'd like to get something out of the way here - this is not personal to me (other than it being about personal safety and whatnot), I have nothing against you, and respect the time you volunteer serving with CASAA. We all owe you a debt of gratitude for that work. In short, in general...
Then with all due respect to Kristin, she might consider prefacing her opinion posts as coming from nothing more than an individual consumer.
ETA: I'm kind of with y'all here, I don't see it as a CASAA issue, unless a CASAA representative is weighing in with what seems to be an...
That was the one I referenced as getting a bit unwieldy, size-wise. It becomes next to impossible to expect someone who hasn't been on the thread from the start to read the entire thread. Aka "tl;dr" - too long; didn't read.
