    This needs to stop

When I do occasionally vape now, I use ecopure (highly recommended, btw). But I'm too nervous to go back to vaping anything fulltime - I dodged a bullet with where this lesion is located on my spinal cord and not only is it nerve-wracking for me when I do vape, it makes my husband and kids leery...

    This needs to stop

Thanks, Jay. Nope, it's still a mystery. I went back to smoking, but occasionally vape now and then - but never without being nervous that I'm tempting fate, unfortunately. Addiction is a helluva thing, huh? So is the devil you know versus the one you don't.

    This needs to stop

I'm going to add another .02 to the pot: One thing to keep in mind when telling people simply to visit a doctor is that because of the experimental nature of vaping, we might find ourselves in the unique (and frustrating) position of having to do our own research to bring to our doctors...

    Serious warning! Deadly juice!

No matter the resulting debate (lord, what won't be debated in this forum?) I think you've raised an excellent point, OldChemist. Calling the liquid "juice" is not imperative to the survival of vaping, the word juice is not somehow sacrosanct in relation to vaping - it's just slang that's...

Ask your favorite suppliers to remove diacetyl from their e-liquids!

redacted: No dog in this fight. ;)

Numb, tingly hands, funny electric shock feeling when you bend your head to your chest?

Trust me, that's what this concern is all about, the flavorings. Judging by your join date you've possibly missed the discussions on diacetyl, which thankfully we were able to get removed - or if not removed altogether at least "promised" to be removed - from most suppliers. And I've mentioned...

Numb, tingly hands, funny electric shock feeling when you bend your head to your chest?

Call me cynical, but if you posted this in any other thread (this one has, by and large, stayed civil) you'd just have been mob-ruled. The thing that is funny is that if we report back as "guinea pigs" who feel better, it's somehow proof of the e-cig's safety, but if there's something we...

Numb, tingly hands, funny electric shock feeling when you bend your head to your chest?

While your point may well be one to tuck away and bring up in other threads, I really - really - don't think this is the one.

For what it's worth, I've been saying the same thing all along.

Numb, tingly hands, funny electric shock feeling when you bend your head to your chest?

I was right where you were, trust me - it killed me to quit vaping. I'd zeroed in on juices that I loved, on a supplier that I felt was diacetyl-free, and life was good. Then I was blindsided by a rare neurological disease/condition. I'm not sure how much of the thread you read, but there are...

Numb, tingly hands, funny electric shock feeling when you bend your head to your chest?

I may be in the minority, but IMO only, any new symptom that centers around the lungs, mouth or circulatory system is worth extra scrutiny. And potentially anything nerve-related as well. Once you've ruled out the usual suspects (infections from cold/flu, coughing up gunk from quitting, or in...

Numb, tingly hands, funny electric shock feeling when you bend your head to your chest?

Maybe just a reaction to the nicotine? It is a vasoconstrictor, so maybe you need to back down to a lower nic juice? Also, and more important, WHOOP! (Mom to a cadet @ A&M here.:))

Numb, tingly hands, funny electric shock feeling when you bend your head to your chest?

Amy, I think one thing to remember is that the reviewer you mentioned and myself had a specific issue that caused each of us to reevaluate our vaping. I am not sure that saying "wait and see if you have any problems" is the most sound advice in the world, but it's probably my advice to you...

I'm glad that vaping is helping you get off the analogs and clear out your lungs, and sorry to hear of your diagnosis.

Thank you, Avanna. I was pleased with the "no MS" diagnosis, but unfortunately transverse myelitis by itself leaves many more questions in its wake - and few answers. (It is often a symptom of MS, but also occurs by itself, as it appears to in my case. Additionally, I'm on the verge...

Vaping...More harm then good? For me yes...Im done!!!!!!

Yvilla, I have tried to be respectful of your opinion and I would appreciate the same basic courtesy in return. Failing that, you could drop the deliberately obtuse and mocking angle and tone. Warming flavors to create a vapor creates its own hazards. Please refer to the diacetyl/brochiolitis...

Vaping...More harm then good? For me yes...Im done!!!!!!

I understand the concept perfectly well, thank you. I think, though, it is possible to reduce your chance of harm from one disease (ie, cancer or pulmonary disease) while opening yourself up to other as of yet unproven concerns. At any rate, it is pointless for you and I to continue this...

Numb, tingly hands, funny electric shock feeling when you bend your head to your chest?

Zelphie, I've always been of the "eh, death is going to get you sooner or later, let's not sweat the small stuff" attitude - then you realize that's true... but there's interim damage that can be done as well. And you have to live with it. That's kind of a game-changer. Nomad, I'm sorry to...
