Yeah thats my bad there . I posted a 220k part when it should have been a 220ohm. I am surprised it even lights up at all. Sorry about that . The wheel is .100 so i guess .050 would do the trick.
I got a bunch of 220ohm 0603's here i will send you some with the Rev2 boards.
The capacitor between pin 1 and 2 sets the frequency of the 555 i believe. The resistors seem to just give you different parts of the duty cycle as far as adjustability. With no resistors and just the diode i believe you get the full spectrum 0 to 100%. I got room for two of the PWM boards on...
Glad to see it working. How does it vape ? Was pretty sure i transferred the circuit over to SMD correctly. I guess SO far the pot just needs to be moved forward a little bit. I might be etching again later today so let me know if you want a rev. 2 board or two. The slow boat from china finally...
Only time i ran that setup was on the Ti ptr08100w and if i remember right it worked out to be a 10k resistor. I didnt notice till now but that schematic is for the OKR 3 amp module. I believe the 3 amp has different specs on the Inhibit pin, which might be why it is not working for you. I would...
A company in China makes them for sure SLB , Bauway , or so on. Really doubt it is joyetech though.
There is some sorta circuitry going on inside. When screwing the battery in the LED flashes. If it was just a switch that for sure wouldn't happen. Doesn't mean it is regulated but my guess...
The Epower is the same thing as the NoeGo i believe. Made by the same Chinese company. I got the 14500 /14650 model sitting here i just don't have any 14500 batteries. They also make a 18650 model that one i have tested out seems to hit the same as my eGo. Which for me is lacking i don't really...
I believe it , I am always doing stuff on the bread board and expecting one thing i get another. Looking at the first post i would think that would work. It has to be something to do with the inductor i believe. I just tried to slap the booster chip in the bread board but it dont fit. Maybe i...
It might get a bit hot. you really want to look for a RDS on gate voltage typ of 2.5 volts. That one you posted is 3.8 volts. A single battery will get to around 2.75 volts before protection kicks in. So a little under that for RDS ON is what you want.
That is strange dont see how it is doing that. Makes me want to dig out my TI sample booster chips and slap one on the bread board. Sometimes seeing is believing. Maybe i will do that after i etch this PCB board. What touch switch setup you using. Maybe it is not fully unlaching after you take...
Is the 3.7 volts firing the atty or is it just a voltage meter measurement. I would be more concerned with amps. It is drawing any? If the atomizer is firing then it would be. But voltage doesn't mean much unless there are some amps to go with it. Other then that Inductors can create a AC...
I think this beats it EDIT: whoops you said VV it is not a VV for sure.
Para makes them here is a link to the thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/battery-mods/207345-mini-mod-w-top-switch.html
Alot of folks partake in the Ti sample program. You just go to their site and make a account and add what you want as samples to your cart. Or you can buy them at quite a few places Mouser and Digikey are my two favorites for electronic components.
Yeah i believe i had one or two beers that...
12volts 5 amps is pretty stout. If you converted it down to 6 volts it would be 10 amps. At 8 volts it would be 7.6 amps i believe. To late to be doing math but it should be good for vaping.
Here is a link to a place i get my magnets from here in the states. Not sure if they ship over seas or not.
K&J Magnetics - Strong Neodymium Magnets, Rare Earth Magnets
