    Nice Job, glad to see you got it going. Yeah i always solder my connectors in one piece. Taking apart just adds steps , but in the end it doesn't matter really what way it gets soldered , as long as it works.

    Well if you ask me , and since you are asking i personally think Variable voltage is where is it at. Being able to adjust to voltage per any given atomizer or carto to get the most out of it. So for sure get a VV pv. as far as airy draws i believe that has more to do with the type of atomizer...

    The lock washers are mainly for keeping the nut tight. You can not put it on and hope it stays tight. Or what i would probably do in this situation is after i got it tight just put a drop of super glue on the threads. That should keep it tight but also if you ever needed to get the nut off...

    Yeah there would be no need to add another protection board if your batteries are already protected. Glad to see that you got it figured out and working. As for running the OKR-T with a NO switch it for sure can be wired like that. There is a thread around here somewhere that CapeCad started...

    Your welcome you would also need to move the LED leg to the Drain side on the mosfet and not right after the master switch.

    With this circuit I would run a Pchannel touch switch. But you could run Alan's Nchannel if you wanted too. Just slap it after the master switch and before the ADJ resistor trace.

    I wouldn't toss it. IMR's wont really explode or vent hot gas like li ions. So you might as well use it.

    EDIT: I see what you were saying now that is correct. I just have a different top as to the way the board was designed. When i posted the board in here i considered how it looked in here the top of the image the top. Just 90 degrees difference.... Pin 1 should be top left. Pin 8 is Top Right...

    It is a bit different when hooked to a riva or Ego. It wont drain your batteries because they work off a mosfet. Basicly if the charger is not powered up it wont open the mosfet to let juice threw or out. So there is protection for egos and rivas but it is built into the PV not the charger. So...

    You have to be careful though the charger you linked will have good reverse protection when not charging. But if you used a Ego or Riva charger they have horrible reverse protection when hooked up all the time. Somewhere around 10mA drain

    Yes that will work fine. Just wont do LR atomizers or cartos. But you would be good down to 2.1 ohms resistance anything lower and your going to be pushing the max output of the regulator.

    Yeah i should have said something the input wires and pot needed to be soldered both sides. That is also 3 oz copper per a side board so that wont help soldering since it will sink alot more heat then 1/2oz or 1 oz copper clad board. But i guess it is a good excuse to upgrade the Iron.

    Looks pretty good. If you have a hot plate you can warm the board up to around 180 degrees soldering will go a lot easier. But then you have to worry about burning yourself on the hot plate. But after a few times you tend to not touch it anymore. Let us now how it goes, going to be interesting...

    Yeah i can do a schematic i think will work for you. If you can solder a 0402 i think you will be able to handle it. If i don't have it up tonight i will have it posted sometime tomorrow.
