Pretty much all the small trimmers have a mechanical operations of 200 cycles. Which is pretty bad. A 10 turn trimmer will only get you about 2000 rotations. Only thumbs that I have seen that are built to last are audio taper( Logarithmic) ones. One option is to look into IC trimmers. I think...
I put the ATMEL AT42QT1010 captive touch circuit on the back burner for now. There is some metal around where i want to put it so I went with just a regular touch switch with the Pchannel. If you take the first circuit posted in this thread and just switch the polarity of the wires it will work...
You can for sure go smaller. The madvapes reg is pretty big considering whats out there today. But the small stuff is not quite as easy to work is the reason they did it like that. The average DIY'er wants something fairly easy to solder. To give you an idea here is a board i designed off a...
Welcome to modding, Making something that works is not all that tough. But stuffing all that stuff you want in your mod to do into a small space is the challenge. Even the small switches that can handle the amps we require take up some valuable real estate. I will try to help you out as much as...
You only have so much time to edit a post till it gets locked. 48 hours or maybe 72 i forget off hand but something like that. You can quote yourself and add to it that way not sure what else you can do
Cool i am interested to see how those boards work for you. What does it take like a day for your orders to get to you. Pretty sure digikey is in your state if i remember right.
I had to make another order today i always forget at least one thing. I went with mouser though. asked them to ship...
Your going to be much better off learning how to solder. Get you a iron and some old junk electronics and go to town practicing on them. I would never trust connecting wires with glue.
I don't know , I am pretty sure i remember this correctly but i believe all my aunts are dead. Unless i have one i don't know about always a possibility, but doubtful ..............
Oh no i was just saying. I never smack a ... unless i been on at least 3 dates with the woman it is attached to. Sorry just one of those rules i wont break , even no matter how many beers i have had :)
If in doubt, try a good smack on her ... then whisper some kind ( or Dirty) words in her ear :)
Edit: Forgot to say that if it doesn't work on cheering her up it for sure will make her even more ...... off then before. Disclaimer: Use this advise at your own risk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sure that will work. You need two in series to double the voltage then the regulator will let you adjust down to vaping perfection. Just one battery is only a nominal 3.7 volts. Most folks like to vape in the 4 volt range. There are some regulating modules that will boost the voltage not sure if...
This is the booster chip. Plug-in Power Module - Non-Isolated POL - PTN04050C - TI.com I been meaning to make something with it i have a couple sitting here collecting dust.
Cool Deal Appreciate it.
Hows those boards going for you. 0603's are fun to solder, made a Digikey order today and i had to go with some 0402 on one part i needed. I hate to go that small but i didnt have a choice. I bought a lot of extras just in...
Only problem I see , is that if your going to run VV the PV wont work running off one battery and/or if it did it would be in the 2.7 voltage range due to the regulators dropout voltage. Got to have 2 stacked batteries for the regulator work in the vapable range .
This is a bit on the advanced side , someone had mentioned it in another thread. But you can turn your PC into a Oscilloscope by using your sound card. Quite a few programs out there but this one i just stumbled on looks like the best.
EDIT: IF you try this out be sure to use a voltage divider...
