QUOTE="Herrick, post: 19500227, member: 295651"]And as reported by all of you people, there is virtually no break-in period with proper density. Good to hear! You've got it now..

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

That's the ticket!!! Coming from cotton, more than you think is even possible in the coil, and less tail than you think is possible in the tails.. My last wick turned out too light and had to re-wick with more density. Pushing on the tails left this... :( NOT GOOD It was working OK for a...

No, never seen those... the VIVA 'paper' towels. But they aren't paper more like cotton cloth. Here's a blast from the past.. Right before I started the Rayon craze. This is literally where it started. - Picture included. https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/posts/11249916/

Oh a diaper as we used to call it. Lol What your looking for is kleenex paper towels the really thick soft ones. Work great just don't let it dry up. I actually tried it before I got to rayon. It was my idea and posted it in the forum bout 4years ago, That's as close as I can get you...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

You'll have to put at least a couple mls through it before anything will show up.. Just vape it... I do test fire a new wick a few times after it's fully saturated and wet just to start the break in. A typical loose wick will vape great at first, but a couple hours later will start to dry hit...

You'd have better luck with pons, pads are no good. Not sure what your looking for, sounds like matt or batting.

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

That's great, you just got to get a feel for working with it and how it responds. Takes a little time, but the rewards are great. :thumb: If it continues to work well for you leave it alone and vape on! Don't change it until you have to. :vapor: Like awesome mentioned it will reduce down a...

Use a diagnostic sequence to Learn. Before you change anything always check the density in the coil by pushing down on the wick at the edge if a gap remains its too loose. Always check the coloring of the wick. Fact, the lower power your running the less density in the coil will be noticed. If...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Yeah, I don't totally discount it may be better with better mods. I've mostly used Joyetech tc mods. I personally don't need to spend more as I'm pretty darn set with rayon and kanthal. Rayon was the original temp control as a wick. With rayon you rarely have dry hit issues anyway. Anemic is a...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Yeah for sure I've been out on tc for ever, just keep trying it since I have these tc mods, lol.. Exactly what I say anemic. I actually get more dry hits on temp control for the very reasons you stated. (personal preference, no offense to those that tc) Stainless I just don't care for.^ it's...

    Taifun GT Discusion!

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Always inspect the deck. The color is the part that needs to be thinned or it will show the imbalance in the two wick tails. It's just the way it is. Once the imbalance in the two tails is evened out, or the excess wick is removed you will get efficient and complete evaporation with no ebb and...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Here's the coil I'm running in it currently. It's vaping very well. 26g kanthal, 2.5mm, . 87ohm Started with a full wick here since it's generous juice flow and only 2.5mm. You can see where the wick is discoloring. Maybe better in this pic This color is showing that that portion of...

I typically use one tank day in day out.. Currently using the Tiafun g3. Drilled out, but still a little tight for pushing the wattage past 40, single coil.. Good vape none the less. Sitting on my new Evic Vtwo Rayon

    Nicotine Comparisons

Yeah they've been around a long long time, very consistent. I've been very happy with it myself being from the th camp and Cyrus the ops stance. And their vg and pg is the best I've tried. At the beginning of the thread, way back like 2011 RTS was deemed way too clean. Now with the ultra cleans...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Juice of course can't be overlooked. If your vaping high pg you will need a lot more wick at the juice ports, in turn less thinning. But really the thinning concept is best viewed in a Dripper. High flow RTA's load it up full wick cut the right length, work from there, you can always trim as...
