Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

I used parallel 32 for the longest time before I got 28. Not to knock ss, but the 28 stainless is annoying to me. Maybe it's my ocd, but I always screw up the coil and have slightly uneven wraps and springiness. If it wraps with uneven tension the less tensioned wraps are looser. With the...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

In steam engine, The heat Flux of heavier gauge wire shows you need more power for lower gauge to reach temp. If you do a 28 and a 24 at the same wattage you'll see the 24 barely heats up in comparison. You need near double the power to reach the same heat level. The heat capacity figure shows...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

I'd like to see the picture before you pull it if possible to see how it looks. 26 doesn't move when your at the correct rayon density. .

EHPro Bachelor RTA - single coil

The bachelor? It's the best all around single coil atty out imo. Simple to build, functional, works. Not leaky, can close juice flow completely. The air flow is plenty, slightly restricted compared to a dripper.. But this isn't a dual coil dripper with 10-20mm of air flow. Is a simple single...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Lol, done. :) Just had the throw it in there for readers. Great definitely run it and see how it responds with the tails cut like that. Yeah the 24 is a Heat sink, once you get it hot it will be hot for a while afterwards. You can still get vapor with the retained heat for a few seconds...

The cut on the wick looks beautiful... I'm thinking really good tails there. Hope the coil density is there for you! :pop: The real test is 30 days. :smokie:

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Please post a picture after 3 or more days with that wick. This will tell me the story, the Rayon will speak to me. power and vape style will also infer on the wick design. It sounds like you may need more thinning in the main tail of the wick. A few days will tell. If so I'll have you do...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

The key to learning those things is running it untill it actually fails to provide the quality of vape your looking for. Then looking at what you've got. You could have a 100ml wick there and pull it out due to boredom. Missing out on learning that what you did that build worked. Air to...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Lol! Sounds like me in the beginning when I first went back to rayon after a foray with hemp.. Could vape 12mg all day long and not get a nic buzz. Dropped the Rayon in and was putting down my mod after 4-5 hits with a nic buzz from 12mg that I never got chain vaping with other wicks. It...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Looking really good.. You've learned from the best here.. Sounds like it working well, just keep going and going with it. The proof will be in time.. Over time any lack of efficiency in the design of the wick will make itself evident by the coloring variations of the wick. The true test is...

I hardly ever get a good flavour from my vape, please help!

It also has to do with the atomizer. If it's a tiny little thing with low air flow 4 wraps may work as a good balance of flavor vapor and heat up time at lower power... But bigger rebuildables have more air flow and need more vaporization of juice to blend with the air. Each wrap will produce...

Flash-e-Vapor V2 rba by Artur Schwarze

If anyone has a hot cig clone where the tank barely fits on the base, and is hard to get on... They didn't cut the chamber enough. Some medium fine sandpaper to the sealing surface inside the chamber. Quickly took it down and now it fits like a glove. Should have done that sooner.

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Any rayon you have you can make into a sheet by spreading the fibers apart and layering them... Could you just make a small wick the size of the donut and cut it to fit down in there around in a circle like a oring?

It's not the perfect tank but overall, considering all factors, it's a top notch single coil tank. The FEV drilled to 3mm is still a great tank system too, but not as easy to set up.
