Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

It's good for me hope it fits your vaping. One big thing to me is simplicity and reliability... It works and it's simple. That's why I use rayon too.

What are the best above-ohm builds for mech mod?

If your at an ohm that's only about 15 - 18w. 32g would really surprise you. Instant heat up. I wouldn't go over 28 unless you like long draws and heat up times. A parallel 32g spaced coil would be my first choice. I ran that for a long time and was the best, and fastest performer at 15-20w...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

The first way was the 'right' way. Since the wick drops down, you have to thin. You can probably just 45° and trim to just lay on the deck. Should be fine without putting anything I the channels. But whatever works for your wattage and juice thickness. The jumbo thick rayon on the deck is...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

You just cut them striaght off, flush, right outside the cup... Easy as it gets.. If your going over a 3mm diameter coil you'll have to cut some out of the slot density otherwise it will be too tight to feed for 40-50w with 94% vg. :)

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Eciggity has it for 24.00 and the shipping is fast. The air hole is 4mm in the deck. It pulls more easily than the FEV drilled to 3mm. It's not as open as a dual coil atty obviously, only one air hole instead of two, but for a single coil it's very good. I can hit it at 50w, could go more but...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Yep, I wanted to get away from under screw head and cutting pinch screws. This does it... The only thing is not to over tighten the positive set screw or it will bend the leg and make it tough to get back out. I've heard not all of them have that issue.. . I always do a thorough comparison...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

It's pretty good, handles 50w to a single coil. More flow than I've had on a single coil tank before. Has a slight restriction that's noticeable compared to a dripper. Said to be slightly smoother than the serpent. It's got more flow than the fev drilled to 3mm. I didn't like the post arrange to...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Yesterday I dropped a 26g 2.5mm, 1.1ohm coil in the bachelor tank - wicked with rayon of course. Vaped it at 50w, 7.5v all day yesterday. Just shot the wick pics today. 402mw/mm², 41mj/k One thing that irks me a bit is with the 26 the legs will want to move a little when you tighten them. I...

EHPro Bachelor RTA - single coil

Yesterday I dropped a 26g 2.5mm, 1.1ohm coil in - wicked with rayon. Vaped it at 50w, 7.5v all day yesterday. Just shot the wick pics today. One thing that irks me a bit is with the 26 the legs will want to move a little when you tighten them. I was hoping for no leg movement with this, but...

Flash-e-Vapor V2 rba by Artur Schwarze

I didn't start the thread, but I'm the only one still around since the first page.. Ive spread the word about the fev, but its been like pulling teeth to get someone to try the fev over the years. Lol

Kanthal gauge help?! Dual coil build at 1 ohm.

Reading your other posts. To do what you want with what you've got you either need to reduce the ohms on the 26g dual build or run 28g or twisted 30 as recommended - twisting the 30 will really stiffen it up. The reason is with 26g at that ohm you have too much mass of wire to heat up. You...

Flash-e-Vapor V2 rba by Artur Schwarze

Funny yesterday I decided to try to open up my original tobecco base. It was still working fine but after setting with juice, some seeps into the base over time, and it's 2 yrs old.. I wanted to rinse it out and have a look at the wires and see. This base is press fitted and couldn't get it...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

So, I got one of these crap occ coils with the bachelor. Tried it for a second and pulled the wick and coil. Cotton still wet with juice... Laid it on a paper towel and 3+ days later the cotton was still ... wet. Didn't transfer the juice. Just pulled a rayon wick out wet, laid it on a paper...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

I know what you mean I used 32g for the longest time with the old 15w mods. But you can use the same wire and make the coil bigger diameter, if needed. I have a saying, if it's working don't mess with it... Unless you just want to. I also take 2-3 second vapes but with more power, bigger...

Flash-e-Vapor V2 rba by Artur Schwarze

After using the new bachelor tank for a week and going back to the FEV I'm really surprised how great my 2yr old flash is. Just as good as the newest single coil tank. Only benefit with the Batch is room for a bigger coil and easier to set up.

Oh also... If your vaping that low, the perfection of the wicking is much less of a issue. The lower the power the wider the range of density you can get by with, the higher the more important things become including tails.. It should work pretty well for you the first time. Your not...
