Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

I'm really liking this smok tf g1 deck. It's got massive air flow for a single coil. Through the posts and under the coil. Its capable of over 80w single coil. The cool thing is with the air wide open the flavor is great.. Plenty of juice flow with 4 big adjustable ports. The posts are great...

Sounds like you got it. I roll em around and you'll find the way it's wrapped, then find the end and try to pull it up in one piece to unwrap. I usually use the whole thing, or double it over for 3+mm coils.

Hey liane, Welcome to the thread! Well some of us dont even buy it.. you can get it in many forms that are all equally acceptable. Most common used is sallys 500 ft box for $12. Many lifetimes worth. But storage issues with old looking boxes can sometines taint the it due to the store...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

In the details of rayon wicking theory, thinning is a must if the wick is longer than the deck or makes a bend. Depending on the tank, amount of juice flow, type of juice and power levels, you may want to thin more. Newer tanks have much more juice flow and hugher power capabilities so you can...

    Taifun GT Discusion!

Im joining the club.. My Taifun gt III clone came in from FT. Needed a quick wash down, the screws are nice, the positive voltage path is nice, tank is nice, easy to wick. Flavor & th are great too.. Air flow is smooth with a fine air control for a restriced lung hit, about just right for...

Well, with the squape x dream just start with trimming first at about the width of the base, take the bottom 10-25% of wick, depending on juice and vaping style, and curl it down under the coil. Cut the rest off even with the chamber walls, enough so the chamber fits on without jamming the...

Yeah, with quad twisted 28 dual coils it needs it, really have no choice.. At 70w its vaping pretty much how i like, but a little warm. 2-3 second pulls, good vapor.. (after that first warm up hit which isnt too bad)

So i had to pull the 28 from the smok tf, it was good if i turned the air way down to like a 1/6. talk of twisting.. I did a quad twisted 28g, mix of nicr & ss340.. Woah, this is thicker than the small clapton i was using. .14 ohms, 3mm id Just poked the bottom portion of the 'bowtie' into...

Yeah theres really no tail trimming so to speak needed, i could just wack it clean off and push some down. The tails are fluffy enough... i ended up i trimming too much and am getting some leaking at times now. The 28 really just isnt enough for this tank. The claptons were pretty good, a...

Hey smt. HS desert ship does take a little time to come around to its corn harvest goodness.. a little more than others. You may be ok.. You definately want to give it at least a week, two weeks is better, 4 is best.. whos got time, but give it at least 5 days for it to start to come around on...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Hey, I angle cut just to the post, where you see the wick is ending. That was just to get rid of some material and get it managable. I basically hacked it all back vertically to fit the chamber, with 10-15% a little bit longer to go down the well. And trimmed that up too to get the fit i wanted...

Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

Decided to pull the dual klaptons and try 28g tonight. Dual 9 wrap 28g kanthal, 2.5mm, .86ohms, rayon, in a smok tf gt2, on an ipower 80. From the first pic where i had it fanned out, I basically did and angle cut back to the posts. bent about 15% of the tail down and cut across at the...

Hey tejas, sorry bout that - LOL Glad its serving you well. It only takes the coil heads i take it. You can do like we did back in the day... Diligently pick out the cotton and repack with rayon little by little.. but we have so many options now a days its not worth all the trouble. lol.

    Digiflavor Siren GTA

Yep maybe the coils are too high, and its muting the flavor. I've heard on this tank you want the coil sitting low just a mm or so from the air, or almost touching. And with the coils being more saturated with the magical gta tank,?, you may need some more power.
