    If I recall correctly, it's to make sure that the device doesn't feed if you bump it while in programmed mode. You can run it w/o that and manually feed as you see fit instead though.

    Yeah...this thing is a game-changer. It's incredible. As for the LED meter readout, this outdoes that in my opinion by taking a simple user interface and integrating it with LED's for each voltage in a .10 increment. Just as logical, but much easier than screwing with turning knobs or screws.
