    With the crock pot method, does it change in color at all? My one RY4 blend goes to a deep caramel color when it's ready.

    With an atty that's recessed (the 510 threads come down further than the positive pin) it will cause a short. My personal device displays shorted when this happens. Some have apparently had no protection and the short must have fired? I've verified numerous times that my short protection is working.

    I've done the hot water bath a few times. Haven't used a crock pot method though. The wife wouldn't like a kitchen takeover lol

    I didn't have enough in my budget this order to get Cap coconut so I couldn't try it. But I did make the original recipe. TASTEY! I get a toasted, almost smoky bourbon fresh mixed and loving it! I can't compare to FP CL because I've never had it, but I immediately made a larger bottle! Great job...

    I don't want to take over the thread with steeping talk, but imho, applying heat does very much help things mix better/faster than room temperature. But, nothing will beat time, and aging the juice. Technically speaking, we aren't really steeping, we are aging e liquid.

    I wouldn't say they suck... Just not "polished". Sure they are updated units, but if the larger 510 and two button presses are an issue for you, there's not much of a reason to "upgrade". This is how technology works. Especially China technology... This isn't specific to the vaping world...

    I really don't see this happening. What I do see is hacked firmware on chips like the sx350. Similar to a jailbroken iPhone.

    The Gi2 IS designed for sub ohms. It's marketed as such. It may be used for regular pre built coils but if that's your fancy, there are FAR better options. I ran pre built coils at 4-4.2volts all the time. Worked great for some tobacco flavors. Just because you have 8.3v/30w available doesn't...

    Someone in the other thread did. Work around for large 510 pin. But if you JUST ordered it should have the new smaller 510 pin

    My preliminary findings are the 0.1 wattage drop can be aleaviated by going past desired wattage then with separate clicks (2-3) come back down to desired setting. Example, for 20w scroll to 20.3w and separately press down 3 times. Hasn't changed on its own for 24hrs
