I don't have the slightest clue as to why some are getting phantom screen and "locked in locked mode" issues... I'm assuming short protection was not implemented properly on some of them though... 0.5ohms off?! That's no good! That's a BIG problem imo... Mine will round down 0.1ohm if it's not past, say a 0.08ohm threshold.... And even that's on 0.8ohms and higher... Below that I'm getting spot on readings...- CurlyxCracker

I don't think they'll ever make it trial. They'll more than likely settle out of court. And in my experience, a judge likes to see things not escalate to trial without attempt to rectify the situation out of court.
