this is the first thread i visited when i joined around 5-6 months ago and its just such a real friendly group .
I still vape at sensible watts most of the time.
just every now and then ya just gotta"let ya hair down" as they say .
Am i still allowed in here as i got myself a new mod for xmas
its not realy that much of a tootle mod like my others but it is nice
and i do enjoy my vape much more now
i may have moved slightly out of tootle limits
I agree the text is larger and other things you mention seem a bit better .
the thing i am not to keen on is my page layout just looks squished more to the center unlike how it used to be a lot wider
That pin hole trick works better on the horizontal coils but not so effective on the newer vertical coils tends to make them leak more often than not.
your first sugestion about adding a few drops of water i found works a lot better with the newer vertical coils.
or if you rebuild them just...
a couple of days after doing my ribbon fix i removed the front panel again and slipped in a piece of red tinted plastic in front of the screen this is what it looks like now .

If you just need some VG you can get small bottles from WALMART to do your first intro into DIY
you can add to cut your nic and PG back this will also dilute out the flavor aswell so do small samples to see how it goes at first
just used a bit of plastic packaging that i coloured with some TAMIYA model paint ie the translusent red clearcoat
used two pieces and the clearcoat colour is inbetween the layers
you could use any colour tinted plastic film also works as a screen protector

on ya next go try a vertical coil build works great in the velocity
duals wicked seperatly each fed from the base and snipped off at the tops flush or just above the posts

when i lived in UK a couple of years back and used to order from here USA and else where to help avoid UK customs import charges you just ask the seller vendor etc to mark package as gift
then the import tax gets dropped
so you can save a bit but still...
I am just saying i would rather take a RX200 to work with me rather than my DNA version as it is cheaper to replace should it accidently get dropped or damaged

i still got my old lipo charger from rc days and as said you def get what you pay for i have learnt over the years some stuff just aint worth scrimping on as far as battery saftey goes
