not sure if it helps but i always lube my o-rings with the juice i will use in the tanks etc
i find they come apart easier for cleaning and i can crank them down a little tighter if needed
i used to work in the auto industry for many years and always lubricated o-rings and seals on...
i like to have at least two tanks on the go all the time with different flavors and i will just change tanks when the flavor starts to drop off then go back to the first and so on just to keep my taste buds active
this helps take all the load of just one tank and will also help you know when...

take a close look at the bottom of the tank glass and tell me how much it protrudes past the inner metal threaded section on your tank that has the leak
if this is the cause there are two possible ways to fix it first and easiest would be to try and make a thin plastic shim to place either...
you may even find the seal and all the machined parts are ok and it could be an under sized glass as that is what presses on the bottom seal if you realy think about it and it only needs to be a couple of thou out and the thread would bottom out before enough pressure is applied to the seal...
well on that note i would say either just try and solve the leak if you think you can and when you get the urge just buy another and keep that one for spares or a beater while working etc
from what i understand the leak is the seal where the tank screws the base section is this the same for you...

weather it be to over demand and lack of product or even down to tooling or quality control
there are always a few duffers that slip the net
its a hard call...
i have a group of friends back in uk 6 to be precise that all brought there subtank minis the same week from the same vape store and they could not believe the amount of variation between there tanks
can i now ask as to how long you have had it
from what i have read and seen in many forums and threads is it looks like a bad batch got out due to the high demand and lack of product available
this is what i asume and could be totaly wrong but if a company cant keep up with demand sometimes...
i got 3 minis and not a prob with any no leaking or dry hits
