    as to the welded joints you can also get coils that are( nr-r-nr) which are made of three bits of wire welded/fused joints coil is resistance wire and the legs are non resistance wire

    yes you will be fine with that . Ohm meters just come in handy when you need a stable base to build on . not a must have nowadays with regulated mods just a handy tool if you aint got a stable base to work on .

    As others have said you can use the mod if it shows ohm reading . Ohm meters are cheap and handy to have if you intend on rebuilding regular as they also double as a building stand to hold the atty while you are creating you build . They can be found for around the same price and cheaper...

    Fat wicks cant beat them never a dry hit like a sponge always got some juice in there somewhere . also helps to have big juice holes to feed a nice fat wick 26-32 awg clapton 4.5mm id 7-8 wraps =1.55 Ohms It aint over till the fat lady sings LOL
