    With the 26g , like you said, they are nice because you dont actually have to go around the screw, so I like. So I can definitely see your point with thinner wire unless you just go on the outside of those traps, but then it stretches your coil out if you use a shorter coil....

    I have read those and I kind of agree with that if there were not other chemicals in the mix. If you could vape a shot of nic, maybe once a day, then perhaps it could be beneficial, but vaping non stop all day is a lot for our lungs Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    I use to smoke 30 cigs per day, about 420 drags. I never computed my vape puffs per day, but for it to be the same as when I smoked (420) I would have to take about 25puffs per hour (25×17 hrs)=425 total. I reckon that's about right. So I basically vape like I smoked.

    My memory of how cotton came about is much different. It was not because of the dangers of silica, but rather wattage & wick coverage.....when we used silica, one did 4 or 5 wraps of 32 & 30 gauge (coil ID averaged 2 mm, perhaps a little more) and this gave you lousy wick coverage and high...

    My Sally's rayon box has a big plastic bag inside in which the rayon lies, I take some out then tie a knot in that plastic and is just kept in the garage...perhaps mine has the plastic because it's the 500ft box....but I agree, if the rayon is just in a box, it probably will absorb some stuff...

    I hear you on that, it was definitely a concern alot had, including myself, but besides that, I just didnt care for it in other ways. I was doing gennys when the rtas came out and just didnt care for the flavor compared to SS mesh wicks. I did use silica for a while in a couple of GG's rta's...

    Xc worked really well but like you said had to be heated in a kiln to burn off the sizing and I was always worried that these places said it was, but wasnt. I remember having to upbraid that stuff as well and if you didnt cut it correctly, the ends would be wonky . .

    Cant you just double up some 2mm silica? It's not only the silica, but the way you coil. Silica can be threaded into a coil, buts it's a pain and should be wrapped around instead. Also using thinner wire is best, because it's hard to take something thicker then 26 or 28 and wrap that around...

    Never really enjoyed silica myself. wrapping wire around a wick instead of threading it thru is unknown to most, but that's the way it use to be. I much preferred a genny in those days. but when sup gave us the micro coil, I was all over it.

    It's the nic content....although mtl, I still vape 24mg freebase juice which is warm and has one hell of a throat hit, so 2 pulls and I'm good for a while....I tried a 6mg juice once in a dripper , which had big air and tried big dtl power vaping and it was like , well nothing, like inhaling...

    This is honey pearry from "the vapor chef", it was mixed on 12/4/2013 and has been kept in my garage all this time. It's not that dark in there and its Florida. This juice is unbelievable in that the color hasn't really darkened, it still smells good, and tastes pretty darn good...
