    Pop smoke = signal for extraction (removal) from somewhere, usually bad. Pull pitch = Increase pitch on a helicopter's blades, creating lift and getting off the ground, hopefully departing to someplace better than where you "popped smoke" at... See: Bail out; ....; didi mau. :)
